Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
i believe the force pulling the ball to a position higher on the wheel than the bottom will hold it and the wheel in place gravity does not act upon the whell because of the weight of the ball because the weight of the ball is neutralized by the magnets pull. though it does look at first glance like it would work. Think it through folks.

Eventual the magnet will wear out and it takes energy to make a magnet, so it's not free..

Congratulations you made a wheel that will spin for a very long time! That is, if it isn't a hoax, which it probably is... now good luck getting any energy out of it! Oh wait! You can't, because it's not doing any work. A force is not a source of energy.

Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
The only (almost) perpetual motion machine which seems to be genuine.

Since the magnets are not recharged in some way, it's not perpetual motion. If there was a way, it would be perpetutal motion.

Likewise the mechanical compression springs will eventually lose their tensinion, and so technically that's adding in energy to the system.

Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
I don't have any way to upload a pic but I did put this design through a physics program called 'working model 2d' and it did spin but for some reason one 'arm' had to be off from the 90deg by just 1 deg. (the shareware prog only lets you save devices with a handful of parts but if you keep it running you can design something with 100 or more moving parts)

Take two wheels with bearings and put them on a stand where they share a common axle that does not spin (and are some distance apart that allows for the 4 gears to be between the two wheels)and on that axle mount 4 gears that do not spin. The gears have a tooth pattern that will fit the toothed-belt. On the outside of the two wheels have 4 axles mounted at 0, 90, 180, and 270 deg and on the axle have 1 gears (with bearings) that is the same size as the one on the 'center axle' and connect the gears to the center axle with the 4 belts.

At this point if you spin the wheel CCW the belts will result in the 'outside gears' spinning CW because they are connected to the center axle that does not spin.

The 4 positions of the outside gears is top and bottom and left and right that are equal distances apart. Now uou build an arm on the outside gear on the right and have it point to the left and at a length that is just short of touching the center solid axle, now add 3 more identical arms all pointing to the left and parallel to the 'base' (ground). Once that is done when you spin the wheel CCW the outside gears still spin CW and the arms will stay pointing to the left and remain parallel to the ground.

The final part of the device is to add as much weight to the ends of the 4 arms that are not connected to the 4 outside gears, when the 'brake' is released the weight of the gear on the left is outside the radias of the main wheels while the gear opposite it on the right side has it's weigh very close to the center solid axle creating what is more or less a teeter-totter with one person being closer to the fulcrum so the weight on the left is pulled down while the (equal) weight on the right will rise. By the time the arm that starts on the left reaches the bottom the weight that was at the top is on the right so it takes over as the 'force' and the weight that was on the right is now at the top and as the rotation continues it will end up being the next arm/weight that is on the left and it's weight is outside the radias of the main wheel so it is the part producing the power.

Playing with the dimensions and weights on the ends of the 4 arms would be the fine tuning part but a gear connected to the spinning main two wheels should have a gear attached that spins with the main wheel and that could be connected to a generator mounted on the ground and connected with a toothed belt.

Hope that is described enough to allow you to visualize the whole device and why it will spin forever and be able to produce some power also.

Exactly, he is putting energy into this machine in multiple ways, its not perpetual motion, sorry.

Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
Here's how I would fake it. Have a moving magnetic field on the underside of the table. This could be generated by an AC electromagnet or a permanent-magnet-studded wheel. The magnetic field moves horizontally along the underside, parallel to the tangent to the bottom of the aluminum wheel. This is magnetic damping in reverse. A damping force is generated when a conducting slab moves through ("cuts") a magnetic field, just like short-circuiting a generator. Here the field is made to moves faster than the slab (wheel) and thus accelerates it. See the eddy-current motor demo in [link to physics.usc.edu]

If all you 'tards took the time to look up the URL given at the end of the video, you would discover that it's from a site which shows these machines do not work

To quote :

"Please, be advised:

These Videos are of motorized versions that were built to illustrate how these machines were supposed to work in the minds of Inventors."

So, are you embarrassed much?

Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
OH FFS.

Look at all these KNOW it all utter fuckheads saying it CANT work.

I used to make variants of this sort of shit when I was 8 years old.

When Hard drives were invented I found a GREAT source of magnets.

The super powerful ones in the hard drives.

Think "Opposing polarity" force.

Laid in a series on two flat discs.

Frictionless bearings on both..each magnet set at a slight angle to its "Opposite" on the opposing disk.

Now bring the two discs, each with about 100 magnets, to within 1.3 mm of eachother..and watch those fuckers FLY!!

Add a dynamo to either one and generate power like you would not beleive.

I let one run for three months..it never slowed down..always produced LOADS of force and power.

I sealed on in an evacuated chamber once.

It reached over 3000 rpm...then it flew to peices simply through centrifugal force.

If I had some stronger stuff to build with I could probably reach 10,000 or more

They put out SHITLOADS of power.

And are only a foot across.

So for all you utter COCKHEADS who say it cant work.

FUCK YOU!!

Dumb ass fucking yanks. (Talking about the know it all "Shills")

Re: Perpetual Motion Machine. Magnetism & Gravity.
it is working in principle and you could draw energy from it but i think with the metal ball spinning next to a magnet, the metal ball itself will be magnetized and N and S will eventually allign and stop moving. ahhhh alas too good to be true
