Just got back from my 3 day check up. My doc was pleased that I want to bike ride!!! I see specialist tomorrow for my shoulder/arm. Stitches come out in three weeks, and I get a left knee brace. And, lots of meds to keep me sleeping so I can't get restless and do something before I'm suppose to, and keep the pain on low levels too. I got a great doc:) But I always will be popping in on glp as often as I can:)

Can I take more than 10,000 IU per day?

Wanting to raise vitamin D levels quickly, some people choose to supplement with amounts higher than 10,000 IU per day until target levels are achieved. When using vitamin D in these amounts, frequent monitoring of blood levels (preferably as supervised by your physician) as well as adequate magnesium intake are advised. Once blood serum levels are optimized, daily amount should be lowered to the amount necessary to sustain these levels. How much is needed will be unique to the individual, but it should be somewhere around 5,000 IU per day.

Glad to see you are keeping up on check ups, those help a lot. The body only heals when you sleep, get some rest and fluff those soft pillows.

I bike ride too, just not on any streets in my town, we have cage drivers that will clip you and keep going. It's their way of fighting the auto-free areas.

Forest trails..... I'd rather get eaten by a bear than run over by a cage driver and left on the side of the road.

Oh, and they make new seats now with extra squish that you can use while your but bones get used to riding again, you can always change back later...
