Homosexuals have always constituted about 10% of the general population. Personally, I don't think about it much.

The reason that some are speaking out against discrimination, however, probably has to do with the fact that gays are bullied, beaten up, and emotionally abused to the extent that they commit suicide.

But again, I don't think about men sucking each other's cocks; women eating out each other's vaginas; or even anal sex much. I would suggest that those who do find some other interest to think about, because, you know, obsessing about such things is just plain weird, if not perverse.
