and for those gay animal advocates, animals engage in some degree of outwardly 'gay' behaviour as juveniles processing what it means to find their place in society.
Just like humans do, they go through a discovery, comparison and contrasting phase. Essentially all animals make the transition when the hormones kick in and fly on autopilot, and any variance is not for sexual fulfillment, but displays of dominance only.
Humans often get stuck and never transition from the intermediate discovery phase. THere are other things that are supposed to be learned at the same time, and are linked, such as responsibility, propriety, imposing limits on oneself and others, developing self sufficiency and respect for others.
These things are also often defective in gays, leading to drama, outrageous behaviours and inability to function and represent as others in their society do. It's one thing to tolerate this, and by a large measure far worse to give them a pass, for they inevitably develop a competing set of priorities running counter to breeder culture
