If they claimed 268,000 rounds I wonder how much there actually was, and how much was kept...and how many guns there were?

Could be a Government contractor part of the Fast and Furious campaign be the wonderful Mr. Holder. don't think for a minute they aren't supplying arms, ammunition, and make millions on the drug running.

Hey here's a bright idea, decriminalize drugs, lower the prices and take the money directly out of the pockets of guys who buy the guns. It's simple economics of supply and demand.

WRONG, when drugs cartels and growers/manufactures supply a high percentage of the products, how are you supposed to drop prices genius?? WHO is going to step in with products and supply the demand?? let alone compete with already established and dangerous cartels. The gov. doesn't make cocaine or heroin, and the gov. doesn't grow anywhere near what the demand is for weed. Your idea is bad.

I work near the store where this ammo was supposed to be delivered in Phoenix arizona called UN Ammo - [link to www.unammo.com] and they have the best prices in town so I was in there a couple weeks ago and was talking to the owner about this. he is getting screwed big time, I was told that there insurance won't cover it because they won't accept an international claim, so they decided to sue the trucking company but they have since folded because of other complaints and problems so at this point they have lost out entirely and he speculates that the drug cartels already have their hands on the ammo as the police likely sold it to them, its pretty shitty....

When risk drops...Prices drop...More people will be bringing it in aside from the organized crime guys so the business becomes less profitable...Weed forget about...Everyone will grow it and the prices will drop dramatically...

The main reason you can't just legalize marijuana outright in the USA right now is because most of the drug arrest are for marijuana...So if you legalize it many people will be out of work...In fact whole police departments would be gone...

I don't like the fact that the media omits the suspects' names in these kinds of cases. Too vague. This guy could be a government bureaucrat or anyone, for all we know. Omitting his name reeks of a cover-up.

That's funny, the Texas and Arizona inbound checkpoints never seem to catch the trucks loaded with products embedded with drugs from the cartels.

They drive right on in, and on to distribution hubs, sometimes the sidewalls of trailers are loaded with good ole American cash, millions worth on the return trips... No problems there either.

Go figure.
