Christians suffer because they are not of this world system and have enemies that seek to kill them or dilute their message of salvation into a worldly peace to be expected here on earth - when there will never be peace until the coming of the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ. This peace dwells right now, today, in every heart of a Christian, even in the face of death caused by those that hate them or caused by the judgement of death as declared on a sinful fallen people by a righteous God.

Christians suffer, all suffer, this hope of a Christian In Christs victory on the cross sustains them through it all. Others, I don't know.
