Post-it notes....to remind me I am going to die with the crap in front of me.

Seriously though id go with the bleach, you can go 6 weeks without food, you can't go more than 5 days without water and without clean water you will die within a week or so from the stuff in the water.

Everything else could be looted from houses or made as you travel. The easiest way to make a fire would be to get a battery out of a car and short the negative/positive.

The DOOM excesses of T.V. , movies, alternative media have I think a long history. This history encompasses probably at least 2,500 years. Going back to the early writings regarding Atlantis, including the ancient writings for example of Gilgamesh of Samaria , India's ancient holy writings, and including the Genesis of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic Holy texts. Why are we any different? Our science is full of Extinction Level Events well detailed in the fossil record in the KT boundary, etc. We have the extinction events which were the demise of the Reptile age, the Dinosaurs Age, and the Mega Mammal age . . . seen any giant ground sloths lately. It seems to be our preoccupation . . . wondering when the next awful event will befall us . . .

have any of you looked up the meaning of the word apocalypse? Why are you assuming some sort of armegeddon with it? Not to say man will not do that to himself, he likely well. The word means a new revelation or lifting of the veil. Ponder that one.

an unlimited supply of aluminum foil [along with a lot of time] would allow one to construct a shelter and some tools. sure one layer of foil isn't much, but 100 layers or 1000 layers is a different story.

aluminum is a useful metal. the foil could also be later melted down to be cast. hello zombie armor and anti-spacejebus lazor shield!

I voted foil. Building a solar oven, use as an insulating emergency blanket, fire starter with battery, lining containers for food storage, signaling properties, hell you could even use it to form a crude spear. Remember, you have an unlimited supply.

I would get take Aluminum Foil...it will work well in covering windows to heat out/in...would make a great reflective signal to someone...after joining other people it will help cook food and keep it wraped...could also use it as and added heat source with blankets...

an unlimited supply of asswipe material will make me king of the world in no time.

it would also be invaluable for retaining knowledge to pass onto my sacred bloodline to ensure that they too ruled the world with mystery school info )

Unlimited supply of Duct Tape for the win! ohyeah

In unlimited amounts you could make anything out of it. Clothes, bags, wallets, sleeping bags, houses! If you get desperate you could make boats, water containers, and yes even...wait for it...trash bags!

Then there are the possibilities for grooming and...ahem...information gathering techniques. Need to wax your legs? We've got tape for that! Need to keep someone really quiet? We've got tape for that too! Need to set the annoying significant other out to be bait for whoever is pursuing you, just wait until they go to sleep and then wrap them up. You can even put a little bow on their head made from duct tape.

And forget post-it notes. Just slap a little duct tape on whatever you want and write on there with some charcoal from your fire!

Give me duct tape, and I'll give you a civilization.

Maybe I've been watching too much Red Green....
