God bless you and your family. The elders should be given all they need. I have been in your shoes. Pray! And give all the love you can with your full heart. She needs love and respect for her dignity than anything.

My mother is 85 , currently in a rehab center (sick sad joke), going back to her house soon. I may end up moving into her townhouse.... not what I want, but I will take care of my mother as she did me. My mother doesn't want anyone to live with her either, with the exception of my daughters.She trusts them. My oldest was staying with her for a while, but she has medical issues of her own, and young children. The middle one has 2 kids, including a 7 month old. My youngest is away at college. Sorry to tell you this but there will be a point at which your mother has no choice. Her health will fail as she gets older ... It is a good time now to sit her down and have a chat about it all.... She seems very filled with pride.
