Man swims naked in big lake??

The more telling part of the story is that our reps find it necessary for a pilgrimage to the holy land.

I have no problem with someone swimming naked on a secluded beach.

Our congresspersons and senators should, when traveling out of the US - which they are privileged to do often at Taxpayer expense - are expected to maintain some reasonable level of decorum and dignity. They are no longer private citizens. They are the leaders and lawmakers of the United STates of America. Anything they do - either good or bad - reflects back on our country.

The all lead lives of privilege and are mostly made wealthy by their positions if they were not wealthy when they were elected. These are very fortune at and trusted (by their constituents) people. More is expected of them than of an average citizen!

If these young men had gotten drunk at a private party, and gone skinny dipping in their hosts pool it would not have been news worthy. But to be in a foreign land, behave like a bunch of frat-house idiots- and then strip off and go swimming in the river where Christ once walked - this is too much to be believed. I hope they are all suspended without pay for a month and during that month they are required to write letters of apology to the Israeli government apologizing for their idiocy.
