The new Madrid has been fairly active since yesterday.

Yea, as long as it's not fore-shock. My dad and bros live there right near three nuke plants in E.TN.. I worry about them everyday. I hate it.. Go figure though.. with all the radar shit from yesterday.

That location is relatively nearly halfway between the Louisiana sinkhole and the BP oil site.

Yup.. Salt dome worries me more so than El Hierro right now..

Aside from good old fasion data sensorship, why would all those quakes on that map in the New Madrid region (and the Florida one) not show up on USGS?

That's Alabama. I've been to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Ft. Morgan many times.

Note the location of most of the recent earthquakes in Oklahoma, texas, Arkansas, Louisiana..

They all seem to be associated with locations that follow or are very near "rivers".

Not on usgs. This site sometimes gives "erroneous" quakes. Let's see it they remove it....

I have heard that the anf site is not completely accurate. But then I know that when the boomings were happening in Clintonville and the public wanted an answer the USGS suddenly said, oh they had a quake. I also know that in Assumption parish the residents were saying there were tremors. Not one showed up on the USGS. So I guess one has to decide. Do we trust the gov't to tell us the real truth or do we trust people & independents.

Earthqakes dont happen in Ontario often but they do come every now and again and they lead to................ nothing. Stop the panic over nothing doomtards.

Yeah, I get that on both counts. I just wonder if some of the small quakes listed on the ANF site could be blasting for construction or something. As an example, I live fairly close to a train track and when they start back up from a dead stop it booms pretty loud and when the local rock quary here blasts, it can shake the house a little. I don't trust USGS, I just didn't know of ANF was straigh feed from the siezmos whithout any explaination or what.
