The Cornerstone Prophecy of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11:3
Copied and pasted below is an edited narrative that I posted on an Internet site 10 years ago that describes the thought process that I went through as a young, avid amateur astronomer during the 1960s to determine that Christ was telling His apostles that He was planning to return to earth sometime after the year 1999 on our calendar and not before. Please do not be misled by the fact that the three celestial events indicated below that completely fulfilled Matthew 24:29 happen to be in a year at the turn of a millennium on mankind's calendar----that is just an unusual coincidence. Also, the fact that 12 3/4 years have passed since Matthew 24:29 was completely fulfilled in 1999 may be objected to by some people, but that's still less than 1% of the time that has passed since Christ's First Coming.

The primary reason why most Christians believe that there will be a cataclysmic end of the world just prior to Christ's return to earth is because the popularly-recognized End Times prophecy 'experts' (such as Hal Lindsey, Jack van Impe, Grant Jeffrey, Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins, etc.) teach this to the Christian masses which they blindly embrace and believe. But because these popularly-recognized End Times prophecy 'experts' are not innate Christian astronomers (as I have been since age 8 in 1962), they are unable to "peel back the layers of the onion" to truly determine and understand God's true plan for the years leading up to the day of Christ's return to earth.

***********************************************************

(Originally written in May, 2002)

In 1954, I was born into a farm family in northeast Missouri and fell in love with the oldest science of astronomy at age 8. Being a Catholic, I heard the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24 and Luke 21) read aloud in Catholic mass on back-to-back Sundays on an annual basis during the 1960s and I was very intrigued by Christ's prediction in Matthew 24:29-30a that, just before He returns, "the sun will be darkened, the moon will not shed her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the hosts of heaven will be shaken loose. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky...."

Because I assumed that Christ was referring to the true stars falling from the sky (each of the true stars being the size of our sun), between ages 9-10, I was terrified by the prospect of living during the time that this cataclysmic event would take place. By age 10 in 1964, I began to believe the astronomers who implied that the true stars will never fall from the sky and I began to look for a sensible explanation behind the events described by Christ in Matthew 24:29. Because Christ was quoted to tell His apostles in Luke 21:25a, that "there will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars...," it was apparent to me that the astronomers living just prior to Christ's return ought to be able to derive the general time frame for His return using the events described in Matthew 24:29. I quickly reasoned that "the stars will fall from the sky" can only be explained by a significant meteor shower. Also, during a total solar eclipse does "the sun will be darkened and the moon will not shed her light" for a few minutes over a narrow strip of land and ocean. Since there are usually one or two total solar eclipses each year, I reasoned that Christ must be referring to a total solar eclipse in a special, perhaps critical part of the world that the astronomers living just prior to Christ's return will be able to identify beforehand. The only prohibition, according to Christ in Matthew 24:36a, is that "no one knows the day or the hour" of His return--which isn't really too prohibitive.

The following year, in 1965, my sixth grade teacher mentioned to the class that the meteor storm in the news at that time, according to astronomers, will produce another meteor storm in 1999 which strongly raised my suspicions that this 1999 meteor storm might fulfill one of the celestial events predicted by Christ in Matthew 24:29.

I went on to become valedictorian of my high school class of 18 and, four years later, earned a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering, with honors, at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1976. I began my engineering career with a very fine agency in the USDA, the Soil Conservation Service, shortly thereafter and married a very special woman and I was on my way---or so I had believed.

In 1979, I watched a movie by the popular End Times prophecy lecturer, Hal Lindsey, entitled "The Late, Great Planet Earth" and I learned of the basic Last Days scenario that is presently taught and accepted by many millions of people (Antichrist, Armageddon, Seven Years of Tribulation, Rapture, etc.).

On January 10, 1989, my February, 1989 issue of ASTRONOMY magazine came in the mail containing an article entitled, "Eclipse Prospects For the 1990s". I naturally was curious of what the upcoming solar eclipses would be and at the end of the article was described the total solar eclipse on August 11, 1999 passing through central Europe and Iraq and Iran--and my eyes became as huge as saucers!! (as the anticipated November, 1999 Leonid meteor storm was very well known by all devoted astronomers, amateur and professional).

Because I was well aware that the very close proximity of a Mideast total solar eclipse and a Leonid meteor storm was exceedingly rare, occurring on the order of about once every 1000 years, I knew that I had uncovered a prophecy that was in the province of astronomers only.

The following three years would turn out to be a concerted effort on my part to get to the bottom of the truth during which I would suspect that there will be no cataclysmic 'end of the world' before Christ returns. Also, I would eventually realize that all Christian astronomers living at this time look a lot alike and it is very difficult to tell a particular one of them from all the others.

By late 1990, I realized that the last event described by Christ in Matthew 24:29 ("and the hosts of heaven will be shaken loose") was likely referring to the fact that in early 1999 the planet Pluto becomes farther from the sun than Neptune (after spending 20 years inside Neptune's orbit). This was confirmed in my mind in January, 1992 when I purchased a St. Jerome's Catholic Study Bible (copyright 1985) in which this last event in Matthew 24:29 had been dramatically changed to "and the powers in space will be driven from their courses." (This event could not be known by any human being until a few years after Pluto was discovered in 1930--plus I do not believe that the word 'space' was commonly used in this context in 30 A.D.)

These three diverse 1999 celestial events fulfilling what I am certain is the only plausible explanation for the events described by Christ in Matthew 24:29 come together, for all practical purposes, only one time ever---in 1999. The probability that a total solar eclipse in Iraq and Iran, a Leonid meteor storm (which did produce a meteor storm over Israel---of all places!---and southern Europe at a peak rate of over 1,600 meteors per hour on the morning of November 18, 1999), and the crossing of Pluto over Neptune's orbit all occurring within a 12 month period of time is on the order of only once every 100,000 years.

When I wrote my first serious treatise on this subject on November 27, 1991 in a paper I entitled, "My Life's Thoughts on the Second Coming", I wrote:

"It is quite apparent that if an 11-year-old boy in 1965 can suspicion 1999 based only on a 33-year periodic meteor storm at the turn of the millennium that the fulfillment of Matthew 24:29 in 1999 has been known to astronomers for 40-50 years. Whether astronomers bothered to share their inside joke with any world or religious leaders is not clear."

Instead of a world-ending Armageddon or the appearance of an Antichrist (which I explain to be a popular myth), my speculation since early 1999 is that Christ's return is contingent with the attainment of a genuine and comprehensive Mideast peace agreement between Israel and her remaining Arab neighbors (the Palestinian Authority, Syria, and Lebanon) which, of course, is still some time off. But I believe that Christ will return to earth sometime during the lifetimes of most of those who are now living.

In other words, it will not be too many more years, I do not believe, before Christ returns to a world much like the one that we all live in today, complete with its usual "ups and downs."

But a cataclysmic 'end-of-the-world'? Forget about it.

It's more than just a Biggie - IT IS CATASTROPHIC FOR THE ENTIRE EARTH

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and EVERY MOUNTAIN and ISLAND WERE MOVED OUT OF THEIR PLACES.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and EVERY BONDMAN, AND EVERY FREE MAN, HID THEMSELVES IN THE DENS AND IN THE ROCKS OF THE MOUNTAINS;

And said to the mountains and rocks, FALL ON US, AND HIDE US FROM THE FACE OF HIM THAT SITTETH ON THRONE, and FROM THE WRATH OF THE LAMB.

For the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand? Rev.6:12-17

Stop talking rubbish,

and start instead to read the Bible in sincerity, then you will learn that we now live in the beginning of the timee period of the sixth trumpet of the book of Revelation, which is 1260 years long, and with still a 1260-year time period to come, which will be the time period of the seventh trumpet. Only when both these two time periods end will what Jesus calls the LAST day come, the day when Jesus Himself says He will come to judge quick and dead.

So do not speak against the Bible, for Jesus will not come in our days, though spiritually He has already come.

The Antichrist has been on earth since the falling away of the apostolic church, and the pope Victor 1 was among the first antichrists, with Irenaeus still earlier. Antichrist is the spirit of deception in the fallen away Christianity of today, and together with the wordly powers that have sustained it this fallen Christianity makes up the composite falsehood which is what Revelation calls THE BEAST.

So, the beast has already come long since, and Jesus Christ will not return until the very last day. Why must people like you always twist and contradict Scripture?

You are blind,

this is not a fight between Christians but a fight that is foretold in the Bible, saying that truth will fight back and destroy those who for so long have been a disgrace to Christianity.

You're absolutely correct. The next event to occur is Christ's return, but there won't be this cataclysmic end-of-the-world that has been successfully sold to the Christian masses, I am quite confident.

We shall see.

Rev. 11:3 says that they will prophesy, AC(User ID: 13974542). So what will they prophesy about?

I say that the fulfillment of Matthew 24:29 in 1999 is the cornerstone prophecy of the Two Witnesses of Rev. 11:3 because I was aware of this prophecy two months before I discovered Chapter 11 of the Book of Revelation in March, 1989, the Two Witnesses to prophesy.

It was an easy deduction for me that this will be their primary prophecy. It turns out that when these three 1999 celestial events actually did occur to fulfill Matthew 24:29, everyone but a handful of Christian astronomers and Vatican officials (who clearly 'tipped their hand' through their 1985 revision in a Catholic Bible of the wording of the last celestial event described by Christ in Matthew 24:29) was "asleep at the switch" when the world moved past the fulfillment of Matthew 24:29 in 1999 and entered into uncharted territory.

Re: The Cornerstone Prophecy of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11:3

You are worse than OP is who started the thread.

The anti-christ is not a system, for their are four beast systems written in the book of Zec. chapter 1.

Ever read of them? They are called the four horns.

The beast systems you are blasting is the body of Christ the "Christians "; and in no way will they be called the "beast".

You are very ignorant in the Word!

I proved you wrong about you being one of the end time witness's that you claim.
You got caught on your own thread and now I see you posting on this thread.

Stars? What does the Word mean when we see that word written in scripture pertaining to prophecy?

Job 38:7 is not real stars.
Neither is the stars that fall from heaven.
Christ is the morning Star, does that mean He will fall too? NOPE!

I am "little star" for a reason on glp. Huge hint of what the word "star" means in the bible.
Satan is the fake morning star.
The stars in the book of Rev. is not real stars.
It is the fallen angels that come with Satan.
You say the anti-christ is a system. No, Satan spiritually controls the four beast systems from the pit that he is in.
The four beast systems is Political, economical, educational, and the worse is religion.
And a true Christian believer is NOT a religion but a reality.

The WORD confirms itself and yet the multitude try to make things up into what fits their agenda.

Satan will land 7 miles north of Mt. Zion just after the NWO political beast system solidifies and the world becomes ruled by the NWO gang. It that beast system takes a deadly blow which is the deadly wound written of in the book of Rev.
Most teach that the deadly wound is anti-christ. NOPE it is the NWO beast system that is political system.

We have already seen the economical beast system aka 911 being hit which works in conjunction with the political beast system.
We are not there yet when the whole world becomes one beast political system. We are close, but not there yet.

Everyone do your homework and find out what the word star means in bible. Then will you understand the symbolic meaning of that word.
God calls us star, stones, sand, grasses, tender herbs, water, trees and several more symbolic words to define us we the human population.
God likes Himself in the book of Hosea as a evergreen fir tree.
Christ is the Tree of life where as Satan is the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Christ reveals all things to us as written in Mark 13. He said so, and that is the ONE that we all should listen too.
Christ healed a man at the gate who was blind and asked him "what do you see". And the old man said "I see trees my Lord".
Again, the Word defines what Stars are just like the word trees.
I could go on and on about this, but who would really care or listen.

The whole world is in Babel confusion as to what is what in the bible.

Satan falls from heaven bringing 7000 beautiful angels with him.

It is written in the Word, but few see it.

So, you sir again are pushing un-truths.

Christ told you in Mark 13:11 what will be prophesied. Read it and understand that God in the end will pick whom He can trust to reveal Satan.
Only God through people, men and woman both will He send the latter day rain through them. And they are NOT to speculate, nor pre-think, nor premeditate in what they say.
There is more than Mark 13:11 that declares this. In all of the Gospel teachings Christ words are mentioned about this very subject.
The end time sealing chapters are Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
Go read them and count how many times we read what Mark 13:11 says.
And maybe if you are wise you will see it again in a couple of other chapters.

The stars that you posted is not real stars. It is fallen angels , Naphal in Hebrew that come with Satan when Michael boots him out of heaven. Rev. 12: 6 and 7.
All those that think the anti-christ is some man will fall for Satan in the "hour of temptation."
The Word confirms itself and I wish Christians would learn this.
Read 2 Cor. 13:1 this is the formula that defines how the Word was written and how to confirm the Word and what will happen.
So all of these years you spent trying to figure out the timing and missed it because you never learned the symbolic gesters.
There is figures of speech, metaphors which we see in Eccl chapter 12 starting with verse 3 to 5. And there is other places that have Hebraisms which is the expressions only found in the Hebrew language.
Go read Gen. 9:22 and then following what 2 Cor. 13:1 formula has taught us and go find the two witness verse's that confirm the Hebraism that is spoken in Gen. 9:22 the words "saw thy fathers nakeness".
The two witness verse's are Lev. 18:8 and Lev. 20:11. They confirm what "saw thy fathers nakeness" means.
This is how the Word is written and I gave Gen. 9:22 verse as an example to show this.

There are acrostic's like Gods name hidden in the book of Esther. And there is many more of them in the Word.
There are idioms which also must be learned.
See, the Word has "hidden manna" (rev. 2:17) and Christ said HE was the "manna" sent from heaven. Not only is He telling us that He is the manna giver and if we listen to Him as He instructed us in John 6:63 all the hidden manna, which has all of the hidden things within His teachings.
He teaches us right down to the very MONTH that He comes if you listen to His teachings.
We know the Word says that no man knows the day or hour, but Christ gives us the season and the book of Daniel tells us the wise will know the season.

Sorry, but I found your info way off base. And I am not trying to offend you but to enlighten you to the real hidden meaning of the symbolic's and other things I have mentioned.
Again, I am little star! A child of the living God !

I hope I excited you to the point that you learn what I have shared.
Gods Word is easy once you learn what I have shared. It all falls into place and we do NOT need to interpret anything at all.
Yes, I know many teach that we all can interpret what we want and that if you read the Word you will get something different than what another will get out of the same verse's that you read.
That is one of Satan's biggest top ten lie. He loves to deceive all of us.
We are NOT to interpret the Word. Yet we see it all the time.
Satan is the one that created denominational Christian systems that we have. Just like any warrior Satan has divide all Christians so he can deceive them. He uses pride of and pushes it within humans and gives them pride.
So learn the Word correctly and all things will open up to all who do seek the "hidden manna" which is given by ONE Shepherd that is Christ.

 Quoting: Star of David

Greetings from
PehJeshuah

There is no mention of a cornerstone prophecy regarding the two witnesses in the Bible.

Rev. 11:3 says that they will prophesy, AC.

Wow, if this is your idea of not judging someone, I'd hate to see you really lay into someone. (See statements of yours highlighted in red by me.)

No, I'll content myself with Christ's instructions to His apostles in Luke 21:25a when He told them, "There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars..." that will point to the general time frame of His return which indicated to me at the age of 10 in 1964, oddly enough, that there will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars that will point to the general time frame of His return.

I think that my keeping abreast of upcoming celestial events beginning at age 8 in 1962 has served me extremely well. It's a shame that very few people take Christ at His Word. Then this interpretation of Matthew 24:29-30a wouldn't go over the heads of so many people.

I am not in the line of the delusional, fraudulent, mistaken, or the publicity-seeking. I am just in a group of one who has been quietly conducting a simple and straightforward letter-writing effort to addressees of power, authority, and influence which, I would learn, is the absolute most that such a person can do in a world comprised of nearly all non-astronomers, leading to what I call a "Lazy Man's Religious Calling."

Here are the front and back sides of my prophecy cards that I have been using in my letter-writing effort since November, 1991 (and which is still ongoing) that display only information that can be easily found in the public realm if a person knows where to look and if they think to look. It's just that very few people do.

My Five Versions of Matthew 24:29-30a Prophecy Cards Between February, 1992 Through June, 2012

Shown below are the five versions of my Matthew 24:29-30a interpretation (prophecy) cards (complete with the errors, typos, and misspellings as they were originally printed) that I composed on business-sized cards beginning in February, 1992. I could not print up the fourth version of this card until after we found out what would (or would not) happen with the highly anticipated November, 1999 Leonid meteor storm. The fifth and (presumably) final version of this card was first made in June, 2012 to reflect the IAU's decision to no longer classify Pluto as a planet in 2006.

Beginning in February, 1992, I have been mailing these prophecy cards to those in the highest positions of power, authority, and influence, my continuing to do so to this very day and I intend to continue to do so until the day of Christ's return to earth, should I live to see that day.

Again 2 Cor. 13:1.
Works for me every time.
I can take down any false prophet by that rule, and so can you if you learn it.
Now in the near future written in Mark 13:11 which is only one of 3 places and more that describes who shall prophecy and when it happens just like Joel chapter 2 talks about and what happened on Pentecost day. There will be only one more time like that event.
Yes God gives us Unction. 1 Eph. John chapter 2:20.
I have read over 200 thousand prophetic prophecies by humans in the last 5 years. NOT ONE has come to pass by those that have done that. What should I say about what you are presenting?

IF we have put on the gospel armor, which really is the whole book and then some, who can deceive us?
Our bible tells us that there will be false prophets so the only way we can balance the truth is what I have posted on how to rightly divide the Word.
Makes since to me. But few will listen or give a hoot about it.

Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
When you get them fully understood, you can't be deceived by anyone. For Christ does the sealing. In Rev. chapter 7 we see also the sealing of the tribes. Notice the tribe of Dan is not there?
The tribe of Dan kept playing with the serpent, Satan.
That was a small bit of digression on my part, but I want you to know I have really heard tons of stuff on the latter day interpretations.

AGain, if you follow the instructions written in 2 Cor. 13:1, no one can deceive you with their personal thinking of what scripture says.
For an example.
If you re-read Mat. chapter 4 verse's 1 to 10 you will see that Satan twisted scripture.
If you feel moved by the Holy Spirit go read Deut. 8: verse's 2 and 3.
Then read Psalms 91:11 to 13 and you will get my point real clear.
Satan twisted scripture about 45 * out of context. And that was an example given to us by Christ how to check mate false teachers, preacher, prophets and etc. Lay all the scriptures out next to each other and you will see how Satan works and how his workers work also.

AGain, it works everytime if you understand what I am sharing with you.
Now about the things I said about the stars and etc.
Many know that the moon will be blood read soon.
There was a man out west in the US that gave 3 years of this which are 2013, 2014, and 2015. I checked out his work, and boy he got it right on the money.
I don't think anyone can find fault with what he is saying.
I for some reason I can't remember the guys name right now, so forgive me for not presenting his name. ( if my mind remembers, I will post it to you. There is videos that were made of his teachings.)
So I understand where you are coming from, but how do I validate your work?

Thanks for being patient with me. I am trying to walk as best I can to please God, not men.
Referring to Rev.4:11.
Notice I try to give scripture to back up what I say?
That is how I operate when I chat.
Blessings

Re: The Cornerstone Prophecy of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11:3
Now my new friend, I will comment on what you said about Luke 21:5.

Those stones were of the temple that Christ was pointing out.
Also spiritually symbolically "stones" is used in the bible that represents
we the people.
Kind of like waters in Rev. 17:15 as people.
Also like clouds in Jude 12. Those clouds represents spiritually people,
a large number of people without water. Water in that verse means without
the spiritual water from the thrown of God by the way of the Holy Spirit.
Paul also used "clouds" meaning large number of people in Heb. 12:1.
He does it again in 1 Thess. chapter 4, but that is where the rapture folks
believe in their fly away doctrine.

There is symbolics, idioms, metaphors, figures of speech, Hebraism's , and acrostics
to learn in the Word to fully understand it. I teach this daily on glp and in my local
area at churches. Many see this, and sometimes a few do not. It is not up to me to
get them to learn how to see the "hidden manna". God is control of this, not me.

Now Mat. 24:29 to 30.

Verse 29 is NOT talking about real stars my friend. Christ is talking about the
fallen ones that will come with Satan.
Notice my avatar name "little star". I used that name on purpose. (God calls us stars in Job. 38:7 and it has a huge mystery or secret there, just for adding to symbolics in the Word.)
About the sun.
Go read Isaiah 24:23. See the "moon" shall be confounded and the "sun" ashamed.
Can the moon and sun have real feelings?
I don't think so.
Go to Mal. chapter 4:2. See that "sun". It is not the real sun, but Christ.
This is symbolics my friend and how God has kept His truth from the enemy of God.

Notice in Mat. 24:30 Christ comes in the clouds of heaven?
Again, it means multitudes of those from heaven is Christ bringing with him.
Jude 14 tells us how many. 10 thousand to those that do not understand Hebraisms.
In other words, a hole host of those shall come with Christ.
But Satan will only come with 7000 beautiful but inwardly wicked angels that follow
him. Rev. 12: 7,8 and 9. (By the way Satan will come in the month of April of what year, I do not know.)

So,I am not too sure how you are using Luke 21 and Mat. 24 like you have. That is why
I am talking with you to see how your mind is being shown what you think God is revealing to you. (I hope that does not offend you, because I am not out to offend anyone. Okay?)
Now again, I call Mat. 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 the sealing chapters. That makes it easier for folks to remember and Christ does the sealing their the end time truth. Learn it correctly and you cannot be deceived.
I am sharing secrets of how the Word is written. Check it out before you comment on what I have shared. It will open your spiritual eyes much greater than they are now. ( NOTE: Please do not miss understand what I just said about greater spiritual eyes.) You can count on it. If you wish not to, then that is okay too. I do not push anyone into anything. (They way I chat sometimes makes people upset. I take short cuts on this chat forum because I have too much to say and if you were in front of me you would know I am a gentleman at all times. I try to be anyway.)

Blessings

Re: The Cornerstone Prophecy of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11:3
The word "maybe" is a question, not a judgment.

I do not judge anyone!

And yes, God has and will put the spirit of slumber on those who cannot stand against Satan.

Yes, we will see signs in the next 3 years alone and then some in the stars and etc.
God is in control, not you, not me, not anyone can over ride that.

The simplest way to rightly divide the Word is written in 2 Cor. 13:1.
If you , me, or anyone goes beyond that point, well lets just say they will be incorrect.
Christ sent out the disciples two by two.

The Word confirms itself without you, me or anyone trying to confirm it for us. I let the Word speak for me and listen to no man without checking them out in the Word.

Here is a tip.
The Holy Spirit says "if anyone has a message from God, they must validate it in the Word."
How so?
With all the doctrine flying around, there is only one way.

Blessings and peace, I am NOT your enemy.
 Quoting: Little Star

I appreciate your saying that you are not my enemy, Little Star. But what celestial events are you referring to in the next three years?

Also, your statement, "God is in control, not you, not me, not anyone can over ride that," is really irrelevent. I simply uncovered the only plausible interpretation of Christ's statements to His apostles recorded in Luke 21:25a and Matthew 24:29-30a, given what astronomers have known in the science of astronomy for the past several decades. When one rules out the impossible and rules in the plausible and possible AND is lucky enough to live at the right time, you can't ask for an easier interpretation that directly yields the general time frame for Christ's return to earth, I don't believe.

Well, Little Star, all I can do is repeat what I posted in my opening post of this thread:

Also, when I discovered, in January, 1992, in a Catholic Bible that I had just purchased (c. 1985) that Catholic Bible scholars made a very drastic and what I believe to be a very synthetic rewording to the last celestial event described by Christ in Matthew 24:29 from "and the hosts of heaven will be shaken loose" to "and the powers in space will be driven from their courses," I laughed hysterically for a few seconds as it was very clear to me that the Vatican authorized this change with the February, 1999 celestial event of Pluto becoming farther from the sun than Neptune in mind, which was the last nail in the coffin for me regarding this statement by Christ to His apostles as the equivalent of Christ saying that He planned to return sometime after the year 1999 on our calendar and not before. (This is not too surprising as the Vatican has had their own astronomical observatory for the past several centuries.)

It would be later on in 1992 when I was quite shocked by the realization that extremely few Christians know or have ever contemplated Christ's statements recorded in Luke 21:25a & Matthew 24:29-30a as I began to do as an avid 9-year-old amateur astronomer in 1963 and, thus, my realizing that there is really no good reason for me to be concerned with the opinions of non-astronomers.

As far as your statements, "Those chapters you quoted are called the sealing chapters.
Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
When you get them fully understood, you can't be deceived by anyone. For Christ does the sealing,"

I don't have the slightest idea of what you are talking about. Whatever you're trying to say here, it doesn't make any sense, at all.

Rev.6:12-17 This is A Biggie!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11765896

It's more than just a Biggie - IT IS CATASTROPHIC FOR THE ENTIRE EARTH

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and EVERY BONDMAN, AND EVERY FREE MAN, HID THEMSELVES IN THE DENS AND IN THE ROCKS OF THE MOUNTAINS;

And said to the mountains and rocks, FALL ON US, AND HIDE US FROM THE FACE OF HIM THAT SITTETH ON THRONE, and FROM THE WRATH OF THE LAMB.

For the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand? Rev.6:12-17

BEHOLD, you have just described the DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST!

Please remember the REVELATION is the testimony of Christ!

It's not going to happen as most people think it will. Most people alive today won't even be aware it's happening.
