you think the people of israel were the ones who condoned those decisions? in biblical times, the world was in absolute bloodshed, carnality, and mayhem. the israelites were actually one of the more forward and civilized in their laws and rules. do a google search on ANY nation other than israel during those times and see what everyone else was doing then.

You probably believe that the Israelites roamed in the desert for 40 years? Did you know that there is no archeological evidence for that. Not ANY. Christians can apparently dish it out but they can't take it. If they would ever actually READ their Bible, they would see that the God they worship is a sadistic monster. He tortures humans forever who commit the "horrible sin" of not believing in him. In the meantime, he is apparently hiding because no one has ever seen or heard him. If you worship a monster like this, it is only because of fear.

Look at the Scriptures which tell you that God commands his heathen warriors to kill all men, women, children, livestock, etc. A verse in Psalms says something like "happy is he who takes your little ones and bashes their heads against rocks." If this is the God you worship, you are dead inside. You don't know right from wrong. You are selfish and immature. You live in a world that is not based on fact, logic or reason.

They wrote it so they could control the population at that time by using fear. How can a Non Existing God be sadistic or a useless savior, promote hate and call it love?, A very busy God that doesn't exist apparently. You have your slogans on our money, in our courthouses and you try to get your invisible sky daddy involved in schools, laws, etc. You don't see Islamic people doing this.
