Austin Millbarge User ID: 16166048 United States 08/23/2012 11:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How the hell can any valid law protect private business from litigation? Quoting: jcab2002 Rhetorical question. There has been a massive expansion of TSA VIPR teams in recent years, including stadiums and all sorts of venues that have nothing to do with transportation. The fucking sheep are being penned in and they don't even know it. A Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response team, sometimes Visible Intermodal Protection and Response (VIPR, or VIPER) is a Transportation Security Administration program. Various government sources have differing descriptions of VIPR's exact mission. It is specifically authorized by 6 U.S.C. § 1112 which says that the program is to "augment the security of any mode of transportation at any location within the United States". Authority for the program is under the Secretary of Homeland Security. The program falls under TSA's Office of Law Enforcement.[1] TSA OLE shares responsibility for the program with the Office of Security Operations and TSNM[expand acronym].[2] Oh Great, they are letting these GED Diploma carrying morans drive around on public roads? Why? These Brownshirts HAVE NO POLICE AUTHORITY. Vipr? That sounds like the bad guys on the 80's G.I. Joe Cartoon... For Christs Sake. Augument the security of any mode of transportation at any location within the United States? Really? I bet they couldn't spell augument. All the TSA knows is pattin' asses and jugglin' balls. Oh and takin' bribes to let smugglers carry dope. Honestly I thought the Gov't was hiring mentally challenged individuals for TSA positions to help them get a job.
