They will accept Canadian Dollars, Euros and Pesos, but not US dollars. At my local grocery store, I noticed big hanging banners over the windows "prices frozen for 100 days." Don't worry, inflation isn't a problem. Businesses are just suddenly advertising this promise to not raise prices for about three months. Went to a coin shop yesterday to buy some more silver and there were quite a few people in it. However, I was the only customer buying merchandise. The others were all too thrilled to be getting toilet paper for their scrap gold and old buffalo nickels. Yeah, yeah I went off topic. |

I did know oil was traded in dollars though. With that said, confidence in any currency is how its traded. Our dollar is worth less and less supply/more demand for oil and here we are.
