Those don't look like bullet wounds at all. Maybe a graze but there's two 'wounds' close together. Two lucky grazes? Where's the shrapnel/bandage on his shoulder? Clearly it's not bothering him as he uses his injured arm throughout the interview and by the end he's practically out of the sling.
