Who was Mary Magdalene?

Was she a common street whore, who walked the streets of Jerusalem, peddling her body to every comer, including, quite possibly, a few of Jesus' apostles, because, face it, unless they were a bunch of feygeles, after hanging out with a bunch of dudes, they'd need some female lovin'?

Was she Jesus' wife, because face it, at the time it would be quite uncommon for a 33-year-old man (unless he was a feygele) to not have a wife, and then, wouldn't you think that the woman present at his crucifixion (other than his mother, of course), would be his wife, and not, just, you know, a common street whore, and if she was, in fact, his wife, wouldn't it mean that Jesus was, oh, just a tad less pure than some want you to believe, and then, in all honesty, what is there to gain from him being pure, and not just being a man, a normal man (even if you subscribe to the whole Son of G-d theory, he's still a man, no?), a man who couldn't help but have his urges?

And, most importantly, was she a Jew, for if Jesus had carnal relations with her, as speculated above, it's more likely than not that he would pick a spouse of the Jewish persuasion, and even if they didn't have such relations, it's hard to imagine her being anything but Jewish, since most of Jesus' followers were, and even if they weren't, then they would have become so by following Jesus' teachings, because face it, in life he was just a Jewish rabbi, and in death, well, it's not for us to decide?

So who was Mary Magdalene? A whore, Jesus' wife, a Jew?

Jesus was seen as a "law breaker" by all accounts and although there is a possibility that he may not have chose to be wed his parents were followers of law and therefore would have had him marry! And most likely would have chosen his wife as well.(considering the day and age and that he may not have wanted to marry)

DNA clues to Queen of Sheba tale

Clues to the origins of the Queen of Sheba legend are written in the DNA of some Africans, according to scientists.

Genetic research suggests Ethiopians mixed with Egyptian, Israeli or Syrian populations about 3,000 years ago.

This is the time the queen, mentioned in great religious works, is said to have ruled the kingdom of Sheba.

Hi Everyone,

I am new, I did some research, and I am very excited to believe that the Bride of Jesus was Black, and she was from Magdala Ethiopia. If you look it up, they have a wealth of churches devoted to the Magdalene. And they claim to be her roots.

Solomon had Sheba as his love, according to legend, and since their marriage would have been forbidden, Sheba had to return.

She had a son, Melenik, from Solomon, so if Magdalene was from Ethiopia, she would have had Davidic Bloodline to be the bride of Jesus.

The Jewish court would though, deny their marriage, thus the coverup and scandal, erasing her from the Bible, and thus history.

Thanks, what do you all think?

Moses had a relationship not accepted by its own people, but loved he still loved his black bride.

Solomon had many wives, one of them fell in love with also with a black woman, but not accepted then she went away with to her country even tough Menelik was his first born Son.

So now we have Jesus disciple mary who he had rumored to have an relationship and who's identity is still unknown and a mystery

John 19
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved.

And after his ressurrection he appeared to his disciple mary first!

Not true.... Magdalene had RED hair.
 Quoting: Yes I Did !!!!

Not sure if I added this or not, but the red did have Irish roots and the Druid celts whom some migrated to Egypt. But red was a hidden way to hide the Arian nature of Magdalene. Magdalene was a Black Ethiopian woman who was born in March as a Aries. Red hair was a way to encode the color of Aries.

Do not underestimate Spring. Its a very important time in all the religious orders. esp in the timing of Conception which does make the Christmas child.

Re: Magdalene was Black, from Magdala Ethiopia? Jesus wife? Da Vinci Code Cracked?
Through months and months of research, my opinion is that Mother Mary was raised as an Essene. In the missing years, I believe that Jesus lived and studied in the Qumran region and was taught by the Teacher of Righteousness (whom was a woman). One of the main rules of the Essenes was that you were banned from preaching or starting a Ministry until you turned 30. Jesus' teachings, and those of the Essenes are almost identical. Men and Women were all considered equal in Heavenly quests. They preached that the Kingdom of God is within you, and is a personal quest that no 'Evil Priest' can hand to you. According to scripts from the Nag Hammadi library, Mary Magdeline was the one that Jesus taught everything, which caused jealousy among the other Disciples. So, if Mary Magdeline did not start her life as an Essene, it ended as an Essene. Not long after the time of Jesus, the Essenes of the Dead Sea area were all killed, and along with them, the most sacred of Jesus' traditions died. And no, I do not believe that Mary Magdeline was Black, but certainly Middle Eastern looking.

Re: Magdalene was Black, from Magdala Ethiopia? Jesus wife? Da Vinci Code Cracked?
The marriage between Mary Magdalene and Jesus has been removed from the scriptures because Mary Magdalene was God. This universe is a virtual reality and God can assume roles in Her own universe. She was for example Eve, Sarah, Asenath (wife of Joseph), Zipporah (wife of Moses), Bathsheba (wife of David) and Khadijah (wife of Mohammed).

At least I have evidence to back it up:
- Jesus was with God in the beginning (John 1:2) but there is no mentioning of Jesus in the Tanakh.
- Adam is referred to as son of God (Luke 3:38), Jesus as firstborn over all creation (Col. 1:15) so Adam was born and Jesus was a reincarnation of Adam.
- Christians are considered to be children of God and born of God (John 1:12-13). Men cannot give birth so God is a Mother and the text was altered.
- No Father is mentioned in the Tanakh, only Eve is named Mother of All the Living (Gen. 3:20).
- After having created the humans on the sixth day in Genesis 1, God appears to have started over again by creating Adam and Eve in Genesis 2. This indicates that the text has been changed.
- Adam calling his wife Eve because She would become mother of all the living also suggests tampering.
- The Quran states that God tested Adam during The Fall (Quran 20:115-121) while The Bible states that Eve induced Adam to eat from the tree (Gen. 3:4-6).
- The Quran mentions the creation of Adam extensively but does not mention the creation of Eve, which may indicate that Eve was never created.
- The Quran mentions that Jesus and Adam were created in a similar way (Quran: 3:59). They were both born from a virgin.
- The repeated reference in the Gnostic texts of Mary Magdalene being loved by Jesus more than the others indicates that the Beloved Disciple in the Gospel of John was originally Mary Magdalene before the text was redacted.
- The last chapter of the gospel of John appears to be added later to suggest that the Beloved Disciple was John as the previous chapter already has closing lines (John 20:30-31).
- There apparently had been rumours that the Beloved Disciple had become immortal (John 21:23). If the Beloved Disciple was Mary Magdalene and if She was God then this would have made sense.
- The love of God Jesus was speaking of (John 17:23-26) was the love of a Goddess for Her husband.
- John the Baptist talks in the Gospel (John 3:27-29) in terms of himself as a best man with the implication that Jesus the bridegroom is coming to meet his bride, but there is nothing specific to identify the bride (see also: Luke 5:34, Matt. 9:15).
- It was customary for a Jewish rabbi to be married and the apostles called him rabbi (Mark 11:21).
- The marriage described in the Gospel of John (John 2:2-8) could be the wedding of Jesus because at a Jewish wedding guests normally do not give orders.
- Jesus started doing miracles at this wedding, which may indicate that this wedding turned him into the Messiah.
- In the Parable of the Ten Virgins the Kingdom of Heaven is compared with a wedding banquet in which Jesus is the bridegroom (Matt. 25:1-13).

More about it in God is a woman and Jesus was Her husband (link below) and The universe as a virtual reality (link below).

Right, and black or not, Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute, and she wasn't the same Mary who was the sister of Lazarus. I don't see why Solomon's marriage to a black woman would be forbidden. He wasn't supposed to "multiply wives for himself" because they would turn his heart away from Jehovah,with all their various 'gods' , which they did, eventually. Kingdom was divided in two after him.

It should be common sense, that she would be of arab, african offspring.

Why in hell would a Nordish Girl from old germany venture to the middle east for marriage.

Every Christian that thinks that jesus was a white blond haird, just gave away his brain at the church entrance.

He probably even was a black, he was a son of slaves his father was a carpenter, his mother was probably 12-15 years old and was given to his father as pay.

There is nothing special about the bloodline.

Christians dont realize that their religion is Roman. The blond haired Jesus is actually Sol Invictus, the Sun God who is born at Winter Solstice..

His blond hair is the rays of the Sun....The throne of God that the man child is taken up in Revelation is the height of the Sun at Summer Solstice.

Magdalene...

Mag...Da...Lene..

Mag...DE...Lena...

Mag = Great

De = From

Lene = Lena = [Luna?]

Lene = Lena...Helena, Greece...Arabic, Palm Tree...

In Greek it means "sunlight" or "moonlight". "The name Lena is pronounced as LEE-nah, Leina, Lena or Lyna. The language of origin for this name is Arabic and Latin.

The dictionary meaning of Lena in English language is "palm tree". Lena is the diminutive or short form for names that end with -line such as Caroline, Adeline, Madeline etc.

The name Lena also lies in the roots of the Scandinavian language. Scandinavian version for the name Helen is Lena. Here, it means "torch", metaphoric representation of something that shows light and leads the path. Lena is also used in Italian surnames such as Della Lena."

Luna = Moon

Magdeluna

Can we back up to Noah also being black and after the flood some were so freaked out they just started walking and once they hit the west coast of Africa they built a boat and sailed west so that is the direction the spreading out took. I wonder if some ancestors that ended up back where it started and had a moment like the end of the movie, Planet of the Apes.

Afro-centric retards. Yeshua didn't have a wife.

And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. Numbers 12:1

You must be getting confused with Moses's wife. He broke God's Holy Law by marrying her since she was a Gentile.

There's no indication in the scriptures that she was a prostitute. I honestly believe the whole feygele understanding which now obtains, was lab-created and socially engineered into us and may not reflect much of anything that went before. Why this was done, I don't know. But I was there at the launch and I think it was anything but a grassroots revolution. What's most obvious about that to me, is that the year I went to college -'72 -was the very beginning of disco, and how impossibly well-funded that launch was. We had a huge, brand new, luxe disco in my little college town that was also a gay bar, and at least one other gay bar opened at the same time. Like many,i guess, my boyfriend and I went a few times to the disco one. But there really was a presumption that if you were there, you were gay and there must have been some penalty about it because we would sort of pretend we weren't together. That went under the heading of mildly sticking-it-to-the-man,but definitely not trying to mess with the minds of those we already thought of as the "brave and saintly gays". In our minds it was very brave to admit to something that creeped people out so much. Also , thereby, obvious they had no choice in the matter, so it was unfair that they were discriminated against, and so we would show our solidarity by swelling their apparent ranks at this disco/gay bar.
I wish I could remember what preceded the term "hit on" but I can't. These terms come out of a lab, I'm sure, and then become the descriptor because they modify the meaning, the action, and the actors, not because they were a good descriptor to start with. But the time I remember being hit on, was also the last time I went. This older lady,pretty manly-looking , dragged over this young girl who seemed very shy and embarrassed and actually like she would rather be anywhere but in this place, and tried to get us talking to each other.
As soon as the lady left I apologized and told the girl I wasn't gay [I would have sworn she wasn't either] and found my boyfriend and left. At the very least, this woman was like a social director or something, but looking back I'd almost swear this was her job, one she had no feeling for either, and that this girl was part of a crew and was under some kind of compulsion, [ I don't mean a sexual one],- maybe even mind-controlled. Other than all of that ,what they most reminded me of were carnies. -If carnies were kidnapped as children and under some terrible threat for telling. I'm trying to suggest this was part of a clunky beginning to what became a well-oiled- machine [no double entendre intended] of an agenda.

Before, our high school had been included in the simultaneous nationwide rolling-out of 'everything it was important for us to know about', pot smoking, pot dealing, the existence of something called homosexuality, and oral sex, which I actually think had been relatively unknown before.
In college they showed Reefer Madness every weekend on campus. freshman year anyway, by the next year it was more about cocaine-

I dropped out mid semester after my housemate 'put the moves' on me. She was surprised that I was in shock about it. No one had ever told me it was "wrong" [that might have given it more appeal], but I found I just couldn't 'go there'.
It was a real crisis for me though. I hated myself for being a "hypocrite", because hadn't I heard and read over and over, that "everyone's basically bisexual"? And "worthless hypocrite that I am", I had offended someone whose feelings were "much more important than mine-, even to me, if only witnessed by the fact that she could "admit" her bisexuality to herself, and I couldn't." [is how i reproached myself]

I never went back to that house- I didn't want her to be embarrassed- or to class. And that's how I came to be the very first [and last] in my family not to finish college!

I went to Europe with my mother right after that. In London these 2 Italian guys [early 20's-ish,extremely well dressed, tall, broad-shouldered,with absolutely beautiful faces,and absolutely beautiful, friendly smiles] were walking away from the British Museum across the narrow empty street where I was walking towards it. They called out hello! and stopped and stood smiling at me and said something else I can't remember, but it might even have involved the words "you're very beautiful!" and clearly remember the expressions on their faces pretty much being as tantamount to proposals of marriage as a facial expression could ever be.

So what did I do, consummate asshole, spaz, and chronic depressive that I was? I smirkingly asked if they were boyfriends and when they looked puzzled, indicated i meant that they were holding hands[yes, I said holding hands]. I had the "pleasure"[not] of watching awareness dawn in their lovely faces, first that they wereindeed holding hands,then what I might be indicating that meant, and then blushing embarrassment and confusion, even in front of each other, as each dropped the other's hand ,and as I continued walking past.
Perhaps needless to add, I don't think these Italians had gotten the same indoctrination into an imaginary "knowingness" regarding these matters, as had we "lucky" Americans.

If this harrowing [to me] tale can wipe one smirk off a "knowing" face, can make one "initiate" briefly question his sexpertise, prevent one 'boulevardier' a raised eyebrow at every freakin' "double entendre"he thinks he detects, my terrible, failed struggle to write this intelligibly might have been almost worth it.

Re: Magdalene was Black, from Magdala Ethiopia? Jesus wife? Da Vinci Code Cracked?
Wrong Mary, the beloved disciple was a disciple of John the Baptist and she is called Mary from Bethany. That made her purified before Jesus met her and she met her future in-law2s the same day she met Jesus.
Got any comments about her?
