Yep, he left poor pregnant Mary for Joseph to care for. I wasn't there, so don't know why he didn't take her with him; maybe, given her difficult temperament, she refused to go?

Isha was tall for the time, well-muscled, with a finely etched face and hazel/green eyes. He also had a mop of slightly curly reddish-brown hair, a real "lady-killer". He wasn't the wimp we've been taught that he was; he could speak and be heard by a group of two thousand. Yes, the early Bible re-writers inserted the Egyptian story of Horus as the Isha story. This is a recurring myth in many cultures... But no matter, we still remember the man Isha, and SOME of what he said has come down to us.
