And I respect their opinion...and if they're insulted by being called BIBLETARDS then they're not the HARDCORE Bibletards I'm hoping to get opinions from. The ones who'd be insulted by the likes of me are TROLLTARDS who don't belong on GLP in the first place. But thanks for the admonishment...I love a good spanking. :moodspank: |

Quoting: Marco Israel Truth gives life, sustains life, is life Lie causes decay and rust and death Truth is I miss interacting with you See! Truth come to life That feels GOOD to me so I ask myself...hmm..."self...is there some truth to those words"...and my being (senses, intuitive parts, emotionals, logics, etc) says "whaddaya know luna...seems to me there's some LIFE in them thar words" because they seem to stir the life in me... And then I get to the part where you say Truth is I miss interacting with you And my self goes "wtf stalker alert!" but my being says "awwww...what a cutie pie you are how sweet"... And it makes me wonder if other people are just as nuts or not really. |

(yes, I really do believe that shit) So...I'm just curious as to how many people actually view language and their communication like that. Are you careful about what you say to others so you don't hurt them? I haven't always been...more recently though I'm more aware of the power of words....I mean look at all the research there is on mind control and manipulation...so you can't say it doesn't exist...the ability to affect others with words. I think it's only the tip of the icerberg though as far as what the truth is about the LIVING WORD... |

This here is text. and you can read that and see it and translate it into your consciouness. This can be done in many ways, through bias, through understanding of text symbology and meanings, and more. However some texts are written by a the highest sources. Again those texts can be seen as the reader does through translation into consciouness. But when you come accross the Right understanding of the words, within your consciouness, the consciouness of the universal truth and your conscious understanding align and the words become a fire flame within your own mind. |

Touch your holy spirit and make you FEEL god or what? Quoting: ArunaLuna I don't know how much of a "HARDCORE bibletard" I am, but the adjective "living" would be used as the opposite of "stagnant." Much of what I read from many sources comes across as "stagnant." Even a "just the facts, ma'am" science book. Stagnant doesn't mean bad, it just means lifeless. And then I can read from many sources words that have "life." They affect me. For the most part they are not "stagnant." And maybe not even factual. So, yes, I would call them "living." We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely. |

Words need people to believe in them, otherwise they would just be dead signs in the deasert without an A. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21674902 So, the more people believe in words or scriptures, spoken by other humans or other creatures, the more the words get alive. So, if nobody reads my reaction, my words are dead... So that's like the tree in the woods analagy...if it falls and no one is witness to it does it make a sound thing? Which is interesting because there is an aspect to life that asks...if there is no witness to it does it EXIST in reality...One of those mind benders. I like your comments though...make me think, thanks! |

Good points! In reading things they pass thru our filters and we interpret them etc etc... And your use of the word ALIGN is important there I think. It is one of the indicators of truth (in my opinion) when you read things that make sense to you on many levels. More than just your logic, or your intuition. |

We are creatures of motion! Considering we're on a planet that is in constant motion...all our cells...our whole structure body is all in constant motion. I like your relating stagnant to lifeless... On another thread today someone mentioned the importance of stillness and how it relates to how we sense other energies...reminds me of how when we are busy in our own motion (our own lives) we can often lose the ability to feel the motion that goes on around us...(other people). Probably much the same for words...and our habits of reading whether it be people on a forum or a trashy romance novel...we guage the life in the words. Which brings me back to the bible then...and it being viewed as the living word. I wonder if there really ARE people who are inspired by it that much as to say they FEEL it's alive? I know, crazy ramblings...just thinking out loud. |
