Have you ever died in a dream??

do you think that is why i saw nothing? I to my concious knowledge have no fear of dying.. My human shackles fear HOW i die. I dont want to be tortured if you know what i mean

No, but although I smoke a lot I have never smoked in a dream.

Usually I wake up from the pain before I die.I will have dreams of getting stabbed and FEEL it,and it will hurt so bad I wake up.I hate those dreams where people try to kill me.

ya know i smoke and i dont think i have either. i recently broke my neck, and i find it interesting that i am now dreaming while wearing a brace. i would think my dreams would shy away from that

Finding gold under your pillow could mean you're going to find some kind of a very great treasure someday.

haha that reminds me, when i was like 3 or 4 i had this dream there were presents hidden under furniture behind furniture in cabinets etc... so when i woke up i ran around trying to find these presents and was so mad they werent there. i didnt get it.

Wow, I only recently discovered this very mind-shattering truth and I have not heard it from anyone else until now. For this purpose Jesus came to this world: to bring us the message of truth from his Father ( "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the TRUTH. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice." John 18:37)

As Pilot himself asked, what TRUTH? Jesus had recently told them in John 8:40-45

" 40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. I saw the sky develop cracks like a crystal being broken, and realized I'd just died along with everyone with me, in a 1984-85 dream. Not sure of the year, but sure I was dead in it.

Sort of a weird dead, still being able to think. So maybe not dead in the way you mean. Hope this helps some.

i did feel peaceful, but it a bit confused on what was happening

i find it interesting in this thread getting shot seems to be a majority as a form of death

Can't say that I've had that type of dream.

But I have had a lot of terrifying dreams about catostrophic events but I saw myself there in the myst of it all.

And I've had many nightmares where I was subjected to some really bad shit (victimized).

Thank God, they are only just dreams and not reality.

I have died in dreams twice. The first was when I was in my late teens. The setting was in the 1800's just after the civil war. I was in a fairly large city, walking down the street with several friends. We were all rip-roaring drunk, laughing & singing. We came upon a large warehouse that was on fire. One of my friends ran inside & I followed him to bring him back. He struggled with me & didn't want to leave. While we were struggling, the ceiling collapsed and we were buried under burning debris.

The second one came about 15 years later. I was a lieutenant commanding a platoon in France during WWII. We fought our way through an orchard and graveyard toward a church. The Germans surrendered and we rounded them up and had all the prisoners assembled in the church. I started up a staircase at one end of the chapel when a German officer pulled a pistol out of his jacket. There was a man in front of me and I pushed him down just as the German fired. The bullet hit me square in the chest & it felt like someone hit me in the chest with their fist and I fell back into a sitting position on the stairs.

Both of these dreams were extremely vivid and detailed. In both cases, I woke up just at the moment I died and had a feeling of complete peace without any fear or pain. I have always believed that at the moment of death, you go into a kind of shock. I'm really pissed that I didn't get to see what happens afterward.

Some people in here who know me might think I’m joking, but I’m not. I have never smoked in a dream although I smoke a lot. I’ve asked lots of other people who smoke if they’ve smoked in their dreams, and they all answered “no”.

maybe its our subconscious saying to stop... joking... but what do you think about my neck brace being in the dreams now?

I died once in a dream and floated up and saw my dead body but it was a long time ago. I was shot.

I have died a few times in my dreams. I'm usually shot. When it happens I don't feel anything painful, just a feeling like my breath is knocked out of me and I feel the snap of the bullet through my body (it feels like an electric shock). The strangest thing is my thought while I'm dying is "wow, that's it?" like its anti-climatic. I feel a sense of calm and then wake up.

if you do it's a good sign you're alive - if you wake up

not far off from what OP is refraining from telling us, I have been to the afterlife in dreams.

Yes I have and still remember standing over myself looking at me dead.Weird for sure.

If anyone is interested in seeing your new life-look for the light- I will be there waiting.

I haven't died in a dream but as a kid at least 2 times I dreamed that I was falling and then right away I woke up because I had fallen off of the bed.

Dreams that are as real as real life making you question if your daily life was a dream. Has anyone had that kind of dream? It was the most upsetting dream I have had.
