Quoting: Anonymous Coward Most of the time i can fly away if im in danger. But i do believe, that you can have a heart attack if you are very very scared/ if you have clogged arteries, thats not gonna help either. Maybe thats why people die in their sleep? those of us with no fear of death have no problem with dying in the dream. the only time i got scared was when i went through a portal and ended up with a "scientist"... he wanted to put me through a machine where i would loose my body. i screamed at him that i was still attached to it and panicked. i wish i would have been ready to let go, i'm so curious what i missed out on experiencing. do you think that is why i saw nothing? I to my concious knowledge have no fear of dying.. My human shackles fear HOW i die. I dont want to be tortured if you know what i mean i think the seeing of nothing should wake you up a little- learn to expand your consciousness out side of the body..... |

When we got to the top..I told him to watch over my family and take care of them when I was gone. Then I let go, and fell backwards off the mountain till I hit the hard ground which felt just like pavement. I woke and found myself laying in the street and there were flashing medic lights everywhere. I could only see people from the knees down. Then I heard one of the medics say, "Yes, its a 1079. and then he zips me up in the bag. Then I see myself from above, and then I see myself kicking like crazy inside the bag....and I wake up |

I know that I am not afraid of dying because of those dreams. After watching my father slowly die of brain cancer after a 2 day coma I realize how important the peace at the end really is. But I believe he left that body when he fell into the coma, or was deep in his dream world preparing to leave. I suspect that dying is just like staying in that dream world and not "waking up," which honestly would be wonderful. "Fortune, honour, beauty, youth are but blossoms dying. I agree with the fact that a person's experience is dictated by their beliefs, but I do believe there is a great mystery of conscousness that reveals itself only once the body has died. There are many beliefs, but one universal truth, but we get glimpses of that truth if we pay attention with an open mind. "Fortune, honour, beauty, youth are but blossoms dying. I never hit bottom...just kept falling until the feeling of falling woke me up. Only been shot in a dream a few times, felt some sort of pain, then wake up sweating. Attacked by animals, but never killed. Always weirded me out though, cause I could feel the animal's breathe, and heat from their mouth on me while biting me. I also used to have sleep paralysis...now those episodes were VIVID. I still haven't gotten a straight answer about it either...everything is all "theories". |
