I have been a latterday saint my whole life and I can tell you that the image the church portrays is so far from the truth, I have always supported the church and that will never change, but they dont care about their members, especially the youth. Im talking about the 18 to 30 year olds that are place to together and its a meat market, girls desperate to get married as you are considered an OLD MAID at 21 if you are not married and are encouraged to serve missions. As there is more females in the church and not enough eligible men it is literally a frenzy of girls who HATE each other as they are in direct competition for any guy. They settle for any lds guy and as more 18 year olds are moving up in to the dating scene in the church the older ones as left behind. I presonally know some who have married non members in order just to have a family. The sexual frustration is apparant and alot of them will have sex anyway and they drink alcohol and then go to church on sunday acting all pure. I cant speak for the church in america, but here the church does not protect, I know of a young girl who had death threats from other mormon girls because they thought she was to churchy. I could say more but I wont just venting. I love my church but sometimes i get so angry with their crap of thinking that they are above the law. Nothing illegal gets reported not even child abuse.

So, the church doesn't care about its members or youth, but you FULLY SUPPORT THEM?

Its really difficult for me as its my church and there are awesome things about it. Its just these things that i see here in my own back yard, I think its just in my stake as i have been overseas and visited other wards and people are amazing. There are serious issues in my stake that dont get addresed

According to the Mormon scriptures (Doctrine and Covenants, Abraham 3) our galaxy, if not all galaxies, is posited to contain countless planets either already, or soon to be, inhabited by human-type life. The greatest of these planets is Kolob.

Kolob is said to be the greatest of the planets because it is "nearest unto the throne of God." But, it is also "the greatest of all the Kokau-beam that thou hast seen" ... Moreover, at least two stars and possibly fifteen or more stars and planets, the Moon, the Earth, and the Sun receive their light from Kolob. Kolob also is said to be surrounded by many great stars which are near unto it (Abraham 3:2). According to this same passage (Abraham 3) the greater the planet the longer its rotational period. Kolob, the greatest, has a day equal to 1000 years.
