Florida Man Has Loaded Gun Stolen From His Car, Only to Have It Returned With a Disturbing Message
If you own a weapon and dont secure said weapon this will happen to you! On top of that you leave it in an unlocked car! Never leave your weapon anywhere out of your reach unless it is in a safe. Keep up with your weapons dumbass!

A Florida man says he will no longer carry a loaded gun in his car after a disturbing incident at his Port St. Lucie home. Someone apparently wanted to teach him a lesson in gun safety.

Mike Maisonnueve told local police that his gun, bullets and a knife were stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway, WPBF reports. After realizing his car had been broken into, he started making his way back into his house when he noticed a bag next to the front door, with words scribbled on either side.

One message read: “LOADED GUN unlocked car = STUPID!!”

On the other side: “LOTS of children in the area.”

Inside the bag were Maisonneuve’s gun and knife, but missing were the bullets

Police action, common in the police state. Notice the story said "broken into and unlocked" in the same sentence.

Was about 16 or so, when triple C's.. cough medicine.. became a big thing to abuse in this fucked up american highschool scene. About 2am or so messed up, decided to go looking through unlocked cars. Found a loaded glock with a case of hollow point. Took it and a month later finger prints bent me over. I wanted to to return it and be like dude you have kids, your neighbors have kids, this was loaded and in an unlocked openly visible area, passenger seat of pickup. Got probahtion and had to pay the gun and ammo cost, even though i turned it in with myself. The end.

life lesson learned.
Repeal the 17th Amendment and the Reapportionment Act of 1929!

Thread: First steps down the road to a return to the Constitutional Republic that we were intended to be.

Restore the Republic.

Thread: The Bill of Rights does NOT include age requirements!

It's a flower, not something to be feared.

LOTS of kids? So what! If a kid breaks into your car or opens your unlocked door then maybe he should be responsible for the consequences. Most kids I know don't go around doing that.

Why does this whole story seem to reek?

OP, I am not AT ALL bashing you for bringing the story...for that I thank you.

Nonetheless...something seems very contrived here, not believable, nor palatable.

Anyway...stranger has happened for sure, but...I don't know.

We used to prowl about the neighborhood at night, sitting on peoples patios, going in their unlocked patio doors while they slept. We also did pranks like moving each patio set one patio down. It was a new subdivision and club like. Everyone knew each other. People were friendly then.

We also went through unlocked cars. We would have found it great fun to find an unlocked car with keys and move it to another driveway.

Other kids rifled through cars for cash and cigarettes and candy and whatnot.

We were junior high school age.

I like to think we wouldn't touch a handgun but its an age of undeveloped brain and giddiness. It would suck to hear a gunshot and realise it was in your drive and see that some dumb kid shot his friend thinking it wasn't a real gun or couldn't possibly be loaded.

You three should probably realize you can be charged with breaking and entering via opening or walking through unlocked door.

For some reason, many believe there must be some overt act where someone must use a significant amount of force (i.e. breaking a window), when that is not the case.

The gun etc. were only removed from the car and placed on his porch. Nothing was stolen. Oh, maybe the bullets are missing as they should be. I hope the guy just threw them in the bushes of the retards yard.

Sensational headline....

Far from disturbing. I expected a sentence like.

"Killed your wife and kids"

now THAT would be disturbing. This is just a wise lesson to an American fool.
