Apperently most of the people shot were shot by police.

What i get tired about are conservative americans trying to defend the gun possesion in their country with all kind of fake- and strawarguments.

Simply admit you feel your own family and loved ones are maybe more safe when you can defend them with your gun, but dont talk shit about the society in its enterity being more safe because of the rights to carry / own a gun, because that simply isnt true.

Numerous people here have shown links about the (relatively) high numbers of deaths by firearms within the USA. The statistics show you are in the company of countries like Mexico and the Philipiness, and that other western countries like the UK, Germany, France etc., countries with gun control, score way more low on these kind of lists.

And dont come up with the shit argument: there are far more people living in our country, because these statistics are talking about relative numbers.

I just can't stand the hypocrisy of people screaming things in here like: how could this happen? the endtimes are here, look at all these gunmurderers! or, Obama is setting us up, he wants to take away our guns!

Because of our POLICIES? Really. Well, tickle me this: Guns are banned in NYC. That people were coerced into supporting that so that these kinds of things wouldn't happen. Yet, they happen MORE in the places that ban the guns. If our carrying of defense tools is such utter bullshit, how do you explain that?

They don't realize by pointing to those countries, they are actually making the pro gun argument in a bigger way than NYC and other "Victim Rich Zones", no matter how populous or not.

Get a grip. Its a fact. If you dispute it you're a liar or an idiot. In all cases: MORE GUNS = LESS CRIME. Its been proven over and over and over, EVERYWHERE, not just the USA.
