will this battery work with this inverter?
my solar panel is connected to this battery

[link to www.amazon.com]

and this battery (via 12v dc out port using this cable [link to www.opentip.com]

will be connected to this inverter to give AC power

or this inverter ( [link to www.ritzcamera.com]

will this work?

the input on that battery is 12v 1 amp. my solar panel puts out 15v 1.2 amps. and its DC lighter output makes it 12v 1 amp

SO that part is know should work.... stop giving me bad advice or start talking with some sense

Ha!

Um no. And yes. But NO.

Yes that little guy will put out dc. But hell no it will not power that inverter.

You actually use more emery converting DC to AC.

Voltage, current..... most important!

No it will not power anything AC.

You will actually damage the battery!

30 watt inverter

how do you translate a 10,000 mah battery to watts? how would you know if it worked?

i can't imagine it wouldnt work since im using a 20 watt solar panel to charge a 10,000 mah battery,

that has to bump it up to over 30 watt right?

then hopefully output to 30 watt inverter for small powered devices

Re: will this battery work with this inverter?
I think they are mocking you because that battery is not really enough to power the inverter.

The battery puts out 3.7 volts

the inverter is designed to put out 12 volts.

A solar panel charges a battery,

You should get a bigger battery.

basically,

Volts (V) = the amount of energy in the battery.

Amp hours (Ah or mAh = milli-amps) = lifespan, how long the battery will give off a charge.

Power (W) = Volts (V) x Current (A)

eg 12V x 5A = 60W

1000mA = 1A

10000mAh = 10Ah

So

10Ah with a 10A load will last 1 hour
10Ah with a 1A load will last 10 hours

You cannot make Watts like that, all the inverter does is change the ratio of V and A

Roughly

12V x 10A = 120V x 1A

but inverters are only about 80% efficient so you probably get

Output = 120V x 1A x (80/100)
so 120V x 0.8A

can i hook up that 30 watt inverter to my 10,000 mah 12 volt 2.1 amp output battery?
the real reason most people on this planet are the most ignorant gullible people that have ever lived is a little thing called the

TELL-LIE-VISION

television

when you watch it, you put the I(you) in television and you get tel(i)evision

30 watt inverter

how do you translate a 10,000 mah battery to watts? how would you know if it worked?

i can't imagine it wouldnt work since im using a 20 watt solar panel to charge a 10,000 mah battery,

that has to bump it up to over 30 watt right?

10,000 mah battery is another way of saying 10 Ampere hours. However battery capacity is measured at the c/10 rate or 1 AH. Also your battery is lithium polymer. Needs a smart charger. Are you building an electrical source for your cell phone?
For brutally rugged batteries look at Edison cells. There are cells built by Edison himself that are still in service. Amazing!

20 watt panel means the EI product of voltage and current = 20. Something like 13 volts at 1 1/2 amperes for example.
