here is the smallest one i could find how about this one? [ link to www.youtube.com] 30 watt inverter how do you translate a 10,000 mah battery to watts? how would you know if it worked? i can't imagine it wouldnt work since im using a 20 watt solar panel to charge a 10,000 mah battery, that has to bump it up to over 30 watt right? Quoting: Daersoulkeeper Power (W) = Volts (V) x Current (A) eg 12V x 5A = 60W 1000mA = 1A 10000mAh = 10Ah So 10Ah with a 10A load will last 1 hour 10Ah with a 1A load will last 10 hours You cannot make Watts like that, all the inverter does is change the ratio of V and A Roughly 12V x 10A = 120V x 1A but inverters are only about 80% efficient so you probably get Output = 120V x 1A x (80/100) so 120V x 0.8A Quoting: lightchild_uk ok so 10000 mAh = 10A. output 12v on battery my battery outputs 12X10 = 120 watts? my battery is rated at 10,000 mah with 12volt 2.1 amp output Quoting: Daersoulkeeper As the battery is only rated at 2.1A 10Ah with a 2A load will last 5 hours Quoting: lightchild_uk lightchild was i correct? my battery rated to put out 120 watts then? if thats true, is it bad to get a 30watt inverter? or is it ok? should i get higher? wish this wasn't confusing.
