Well, I'm not terribly comfortable with the email cause it is a pitch to basically sell their newsletter to subscribers. They have a video (basically a commercial) with an interview with Mr. Wiedemer.

But, when he says a gallon of gasoline will shoot up to $28 from 2013 to 2016 it had me sit up an pay attention.

There's a lot of food for thought in the video. For example the current economic situation does not instill the greatest confidence in me that our government will be able to resolve this economic situation amicably. Hiked taxes is an inevitability, for example, and not just a small hike either. Some other things stated:

- The continued quantitative easing will inevitably cause inflation beginning in 2013

- Long term bond investments will be practically destroyed

- Government will roll short term paper debt frequently

- US dollar will continue to fall in value

- Real estate investments will depreciate 20 to 30 % more because interest rates will rise in 2013

- Pay off variable credit cards now, lock any variable mortgage rates to fix rates now.

- Precious metals may see a bull market for the next ten years begining in 2013.

I think it's very interesting (and OMINOUS) that the newsmax.com site is DOWN HARD. Anyone that wants to read this story is going to have to read it elsewhere.

This story was posted 88 days ago...it would have had it's effect long ago.
