Assumption Parish is very close to the gulf and the sinkhole is already massive.

What are your thoughts on the effect of Issac once the outer bands move in and the storm makes landfall?

Re: What could Tropical Storm Issac do to the Sinkhole in Assumption Parish?
We discovered a soinhkle under our home and it has recently been filled (grouting process). During this period the soinhkle company contacted us and stated the new bill signed into law by Gov. Scott makes it a crime for soinhkle companies to reimburse the homeowner for damage done to lawn/landscaping and water usage during the process. Is this ture? I was told that if they do offer to reimburse me that they would go to jail and my conntract with them becomes null/void, and this portion of the law was made retroactive. This would mean that I would have to resubmit my claim as a new claim and with the new law it would not be covered. How can a law be retroactive? That does not seem legal to me.
