I had a gun pulled on me as well earlier this week.

People are seriously starting to lose it... mass hysteria I tell ya!

I live in Pine Hills right now, but because its so close to other areas, people with rebel flags roll down my main street. It's funny to me

I have told a few of my friends the past few days I'm going to pick up a rebel flag shirt and wear it out and about town to see the reactions. Me a black guy with an afro and a pick wearing this downtown walking around past the courthouse and such should be a real hit...

Never had a gun pulled on me, but once 2 folks tried to rob me. They got so worked ahahahaha. Broke the nose to one of them while smashing his face in a wall, and the other simply got ko'ed first hit - a knee to face.

Lucky for them the military police showed up - and I was at special forces, so when they saw me with military uniform smashing a guy against the wall they were pretty pissed off. :)

But I know times are different. Many folks now have guns and they used them with no fear, especially here in Lisbon.

punk rock in the 80's must have been like a golden era. I'm just getting into some punk bands and one of the best ones to me from that time was a Japanese one called Stalin. Dag Nasty wasn't bad either...

I live in AZ, and I can say this with certainty... here in AZ... NO ONE - NOT EVEN CRAZY PEOPLE - would even think of trying to intimidate someone with a gun due to the fact that no one can know who has a gun to begin with.

Sounds crazy, but around here, there are no fake tough guys going around town with guns trying to punk people out due to the fact that they might get themselves shot first. Open carry, concealed carry w/o a license and you can bring your gun into a bar unless otherwise posted... all these things lead to people being much more careful and far less 'cowboy' in their dealings with each other when any dispute comes up in a public place such as you described.

But in Chicago... where they ban guns... well... I digress.

I love AZ. Moved here from CA where I actually needed to carry but could not.

I honestly thought I would see a lot more open carry.

I open carry, conceal carry, and sometimes both.

I train often. Been around firearms since I was about 8.

NRA Pistol Instructor, GLOCK Armorer, and GLOCK Instructor as well.

Enough of my ramblings.
