Rule changes, disregard for existing rules, cancelling elections, running off with ballots, secret vote counts, throwing out votes, threats, physical violence, and arbitrary replacement of delegates are activities unbecoming of a democratic society. Whether you're a Ron Paul supporter, or even a Republican, is irrelevant. That the Republican Party will seemingly stop at nothing to ensure their selected candidate is the nominee should be deeply troubling for all Americans.

If you are not allowed on the BUS for transportation to the convention as a delegate you will not get in to the convention AS A DELEGATE.

This will keep the Ron Paul Folks stuck at the hotel

Very small or no media coverage to watch the Roll Call just in case Paul Tards disrupt the convention by not voting their consience.

The proabaly wont even get in because the GOP is now responsible for transporting all the delegates to the convention.

Denying the RP delegates access to the convention eh..

I really believe RP was threatened during/after his meetin with Bernake. The whole tone of his campaigne changed.
Now there are insider rumors that even if nominated from the floor, RP would not accept.

The formal presidential nomination process will begin earlier than past years in part because of concerns about supporters of libertarian Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Republican officials said Thursday. Officials are also discussing the impact that Tropical Storm Isaac could have on the convention.

Republican candidates have typically been nominated a day ahead of their convention speech. Roll call votes have typically begun later in the convention proceedings than will occur this year, a convention official said. Romney is slated to speak next Thursday.

Paul challenged Romney during the Republican primary process and has a following of loyal and vocal supporters, some of whom will be involved in the roll call process. Several hundred convention delegates are pledged to support Paul. The Texas congressman hasn't released them to support others as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, another Romney primary rival, has allowed.

Actually Ron Paul has been the driving force behind the GOP focus - mostly because of the Tea Party.

Why in the world would the GOP and Romney make official two statements this week.

1. GOP/ Romney announces a possible return to the Gold Standard
2. Romneys says auditing the FED is a possibilty


This all should make for some inetersting watching

that's it. I'm voting Libertarian. I'm changing the game and others that want change better find it within themselves to do the same thing.

If they fear the tea party, give them something to fear. Throw out Federal Reserve, IRS. Teach them to understand, don't rule us unjustly.

It way past time for a third national political party.

It's also time to allow for ballots that say: "NONE OF THE ABOVE"!
