Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
Oxy Geismar Well No. 3 (serial number: 180708) is the cause of the sink hole.
The well was first permitted in April 15, 1982 for the mining of salt water brine from the Napoleonville Salt Dome.
In 1995 Texas brine received permission from Louisiana Department of Natural Resources to pump soil contaminated with Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) into the well.
In early September 2010, Texas Brine began reworking the cavern well, milling a section of salt higher than the existing cavern roof, at 3,400 feet deep, to see if the upper strata could be mined. A DNR permit for that work was issued in May 2010.
In 2011 the well failed a pressure test showing that the integrity of the well had been lost. Texas Brine Company sent a letter to Louisiana Department of Natural Resources reporting the failed test and expressing concern over the possibility that "a breach out of the salt dome appears possible."
On June 6, 2011 the well bore above the cavern was plugged with cement.

Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality reported that tests done on August 8, 2012 showed "no detectable levels for naturally occurring radioactive material" at the surface of the sinkhole or in water samples from the sink hole.

Diesel fuel at the sink hole site is from the "diesel blanket;" a layer of diesel fuel put atop the brine-filled cavern to protect the cavern roof and steel well casings.

get ready...

I just posted this on the final warnings thread. I'm adding it here as well.

Scrappy Doo back one more time folks, I'm taking a chance here but I have to inform all of you.

East Texas IS in custody, not sure of specifics but these bastards are already on his computer once more stirring up shit. I can't believe these fuckers.

WATCH YOURSELVES.

And watch the news, we warned them about fooling around with the Truth. I have a feeling most of America is gonna be REAL interested in who has been doing just what.

Good morning Everyone Hugging

Welp, far as I can see we all made it through the night, glad for that. Just finished reading back through the posts I missed from a few hours ago. A network is always a great idea, I'm sure we can come up with an alert system.

SkinnyC, the following is the last post I'm aware of from one of the dawgs, only the bolded is real, the post using ET's addy is fake.

Scrappy Doo back again quickly people, I can't believe they're already using East Texas's computer. Never underestimate the stupidity of those who truly believe they're SUPERIOR to you and me.

This has been said before but this is a standing advisement to those of you we've been trying to inform, DO NOT trust the East Texas poster/internet addy anymore. He's in custody.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1461956

Thank you Scrappy Doo
Quoting: siniXster

I am Scrappy Doo, check post times and IP addy's these bastards are at it again. But it is true that they have East Texas, and access to his computer. He knew this was a risk, please pray for him. By the way both the original OP (who is Top Dawg) and the wife of East Texas are monitoring this site. She also was aware of the risks and I know she is so proud of the man you all know as East Texas, who the Dawg Pound loves and respects so much more even now. Stay safe and vigilant folks and at this point it's best to trust your gut when something is posted from now on. We knew this might happen.

Hope that helps, I went to bed, you may have had it figured out already, lol.

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
yes, the gas is coming up from a deposit deep in the
earth's crust, travels through fissures and cracks in
the rock strata. and certainly there is Nothing that
can be capped because it's everywhere in the ground.

and i suppose that they could drill 50 relief wells
and hope that the damn gas deposit empties in 10 or 20 years.
but, what if this gargantuan gas deposit is deeper than
any technology can drill?

in that case the natural gas would just keep creeping and
creeping, making every area it saturated uninhabitable.
so, how much area will this "thing" saturate?
only all of Assumption Parish? all of Southern Louisiana
(including New Orleans)? just how far will this gas
permeate the ground and make entire areas uninhabitable?
(and to what extent will any of this gas collect into
huge clouds with the proper air-fuel mixture to make
it an explosion hazard?)....

That graph signifies very large, continuous movement of either gas or magma, in our case I would think it's massive amounts of methane traveling through the fault system. Spotty tremors till around 7am EST then the movement started, the gas is definitely on the move but where is it going...

yes, these are HUGE harmonic tremors being caused by
high pressure gas moving upwards, deep down, through
fissures and cracks.
the reason they are all flattened-off is called "clipping" --
which means that all of the "upper spikes" of the event
are OFF THE CHART, and so can't be displayed

We've been smelling out-gasing from dormant magma tubes up here in Michigan since early August, I started a thread about it back then.

I hafta to take it one step further AC, been following this since well before the sinkhole opened up. It's my as well as a few others belief that this has already spread across the continent and has been causing the plumes we've been seeing coming from the Salton Sea area, the PNW, Yellowstone, all the midwest and the southern states. We've been smelling out-gasing from dormant magma tubes up here in Michigan since early August, I started a thread about it back then.

well, i have never heard of these kinds of events (on this
massive a scale) having ever happened before in recorded
history. so, there's no telling, yet, what the fuck is going on.

it's my guess that the authorities have figured out
what's happening, and it's such awful news that
they are just afraid to tell everybody.

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
don't forget, folks: the problem is all of Assumption Parish,
and that silly sinkhole and cavern are just a small part of it.
the problem is that there is a high pressure gas deposit deep down
in the crust strata that is leaking massive amount of
gas upwards to the surface. and, of course some of it
has collected in the sinkhole cavern; but, more importantly,
all of the ground in all of Assumption Parish is rapidly
becoming saturated with this gas, and soon will have nowhere
left to go except into the atmosphere....

what i have been saying is just a conservative estimate
of what may really be going on.

There's been a lot of research done over the last few months on this whole scenario and I've spoke to qualified individuals who've also never seen it but agree that this is very possibly what is happening. We spoke to the USGS and received very interested calls back from both DHS and FEMA concerning the out-gasing in our area. I highly doubt they would have bothered with us or placed a call when they were not contacted by us, unless we struck a nerve.

Pain and heartbreak are but illusions that we allow our mind to create out of fear, live in love and from your heart and you'll realize that all is as it should be. The lessons we learn from loss are meant to be taken with wisdom and happiness not sadness and remorse. New strength, new love, new life, new wisdom and lessons that propel us forward on our journey back to unity, universal consciousness and true unconditional love. Wow, what an incredibly joyous ride when we see it for what it truly is!- Sin
