Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
I am still trying to unlock some of the clues from the first post. I know you are all on to other very important things, but I still think we are missing something, a piece of the puzzle. Anyway, a few pages ago, I wrote that I looked the word CUZZ up in the urban dictionary and that it stated that CUZZ is the way that crips identify and greet each other. In LA Crips and Bloods are rival gangs.

I suggested that maybe there are two gangs, not street drug gangs, but more groups working against each other and that CUZZ is a way of indentifying which group is speaking. I also feel that they are using our forum to send threats to each other, Reread the warnings in the firs post of the Final message from ET thread. Sounds like warnings not to us but to one another.

I am bringing this back up because I just found a strange thread here and it would be off the wall except for the context that I just wrote about.

Thread: Should i join the crips or bloods?‎

The Crips, unless you despise the poor and the middleclass.

If you despise the poor and the middleclass and you like the way Mittens looks in mom jeans, then go with the Bloods.

Someone sent me this message today with a thumbs down, whatever that means.

10/6/2012 A few days ago, you told everyone to check your IP addy and it would show Bayou Corne---Now You say Morgan City 20+ miles away----WTF??? did you slip there SHILL

No, I didn't slip. My Internet service is Allens TV cable, in Morgan City. Look it up.

When I posted that anyone looking at my IP would show I was in Bayou Corne, I didn't think about how it might show the Internet Providers address, and not exactly where I am.

Either way, OMG.....Morgan City is 20 miles down Hwy 70 by road, and probably half that as the crow flies....LOL.
 Quoting: Patassa

Take care of yourself Patassa.. you're awfully close to ground zero there.
 Quoting: my2centsworth

Thank you. Closer than you might imagine, but every day a school bus rolls down highway 70 full of children, they are much much closer than I am. Literally blocks. No one can understand this.

At any rate, I am logging off for the night. Goodnight everyone!
 Quoting: Patassa

That is very sobering...I hope and pray for the sake of everyone including all those innocent children that they find the answers they need quick smart but I think the damage is already happening/done/worsening....I am SHOCKED after researching at the level of contamination already in the area ( oil well blew raining oil for some time by highway 70 as well as a large benzene spill ) take this in to account as well as the nuclear plants that are proven to be leaking everywhere, contamination spread all over from Isaac and now all the current issues.....I really do think the Official who called this a genocide in process was right on the money. Those children do not have a great future having to live in the midst of such terrible pollution...

I also remember hearing talk of the blown well near highway 70 being capped but a relief well( I think that was the term but have read so much it may have been called something else!) was not drilled? So this could have caused the pressure to be released elsewhere...

There is so much going on its hard to know where to look and what to focus on!
Interested observer of all things interesting!

8.5.1 Injection of waste fluid – the Denver earthquakes

Between 1962 and 1966, around 625,000 m3 of contaminated waste water was injected in a deep
well drilled at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal
(RMA), NE of Denver, Colorado USA (Hsieh &
Bredehoeft, 1981). Injection was at a depth of 3650 m into a highly fractured Precambrian
Gneiss. Between 1962 and 1967 over 1500 earthquakes were recorded, with three major ones of
magnitude 5 or more in 1967
and which shook the Denver area causing minor structural damage.
Previously, the last event felt in the area had been in 1882. By the mid 1980s, the earthquake
activity had all but died away. The causes were attributed to movements along the fractures in
the gneiss triggered by the increase in pore pressure due to injection.

On the 25th August 1974, liquefied butane gas was being pumped into the cavern with displaced
brine moved to an open pond for storage. A miscalculation in the cavern volume amounting to
2190 tonnes (circa 106 US gallons), led to the cavern being overfilled, although the amount that
eventually escaped is not known. As the gas replaced the brine in the well, pressure was lost,
allowing high velocity escape of butane, which quickly formed a flammable cloud 2 kms (1.25
miles) in diameter (AEA, 2005).
Sometime after the release of butane, there was a small explosion and a fire, which caused
convection and mixing of the cloud and air column. This led to a second explosion, some 240 m
– 305 m above the ground, which damaged houses up to 275 m away and shattered windows up
to 11 kms away (AEA, 2005). The fire burnt for 5 hours before the well was controlled by
pumping brine into it and closing the valves. In all, 24 people were injured and around 3000
evacuated during the incident (Hirschberg et al., 1998; AEA, 2005).
 Quoting: TeamReaper

Page 156:

On September 17th 1980, a drop in pressure was recorded in one of the cavities holding the LPG,
due to an underground leak in which the LPG gasified. It is believed that almost 28.3 Mcm (1
billion cubic feet) of an ethane-propane mix was lost from one of the caverns
(Pirkle, 1986;
Bérest et al., 2001). The cause of the initial leak was traced to a hole in the corroded casing of a
well
, dating from 1958, within the caprock overlying the salt at a depth of around 550 m (Pirkle,
1986; Bérest et al., 2001). The low-density propane and ethane rose through the cement outside
the casing and then through porous rocks, faults and joints, accumulating in reservoirs at depths
of 60 m – 120 m at pressures near the fracture pressure of the strata
. Additionally, the gases
migrated to the near surface and were found in a water-bearing sand 10 m thick beneath the town
of Mt Belvieu. Relief wells were drilled into the high-pressure reservoirs at 60 m – 120 m and
the gases flared off. The gas mixture migrated into the foundations of a house in the area and on
October 3rd ignited when a spark from an electrical appliance (believed to be a dishwasher)
triggered an explosion
. In the days following, gas escapes appeared elsewhere, forcing 75
families from their homes for almost six months.

I was re-reading some posts, and came across this opening statement by 'anon', #25096914, about the full release of a vid of Obama speaking a couple of years ago. This part of the post really struck me, because it's the same phrase in one of the Dawg posts a while back...

I just wanted to add this bit of info, just for all to keep in mind because the timing of it is odd and I have learned that timing is everything and that those who control the world often like to set the stage in advance.

Way early on in the life of this thread, someone mentioned that something had happened and that the timing of it was odd. The statement above could really apply. Think it will require more reading and research than I can do tonight...but will try to follow up.

Checked on the MIT lab that developed DRACO. Funding was mostly by groups that had 'Defense' in the title...sounded pretty gov-related. Had trouble getting the names copied to paste here, but will go back for another try. If they were, in fact, branches of the gov, they might very well have been trying to come up with an antidote to synthia. I need to go back to that article and see when MIT was doing the DRACO R&D - before or after the GoM release of synthia. I noticed that most of the sources brought up by searchig 'venter' and synthia were over a year old. Nothing real recent that I remember.

Napoleanville and Clovelly
Problems have arisen in caverns constructed too close to the edges of the Napoleanville and
Clovelly salt domes in southern Louisiana and have resulted in cavern integrity and pressure
maintenance problems
.
This has meant that a number of caverns could not be commissioned
(Neal & Magorian, 1997).
At Clovelly, cavern leaching in the salt overhang meant there was not a sufficient thickness of
salt to act as a barrier (Fig. 37). At Napoleanville, shale layers were encountered in some
caverns, indicating the salt dome edge and enclosing rocks had been encountered, with
insufficient buffer salt remaining
(Neal & Magorian, 1997).
Both incidents point to inadequate site characterisation prior to commencing development and
brining operations
.

Finally - the names of the funding agencies/entities for the development of DRACO, per the MIT web site announcing DRACO.

[link to www.ll.mit.edu]

This work is funded by a grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the New England Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases, with previous funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and Director of Defense Research & Engineering (now the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering).

DRACO is specific to work on viral infections. No clue whether it could be used on synthia. The announcement on that site is from 2011.
