Mission Assumption

The scenario itself is a daunting one – a (simulated) 10-kiloton nuclear detonation in a major Midwestern city – and is pivotal in its scope. It provides leaders the ability to confirm the training and readiness of the nation’s new Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Response Enterprise. The exercise required a unique collection of specialized military units, under the command and control of Joint Task Force – Civil Support, based out of Fort Eustis, Va., and under the guidance and operational control of U.S. Army North.

Yea ok, so I go to sleep and miss all the fun. I see how it is lol

was the info part of the exercise? Did someone take the information from the actual emergency situation and the information about the mission and merge them thinking they were one and the same?

Forgive me while I am lost, coffee just now brewed.

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
Its important today everyone to focus. If you dont have your answers yet, ask the questions again until you do.

@Jrad - brilliant piece of the puzzle

@fire - your avatar makes me smile and sad about my lost friends

@granny - elders are the quickest to see the truth

For those of you / us who have been knee deep invested in what we fear may happen, it so pains me to write that we have reached that point. We are past signs and clues, it is happening right now, slowly, and will build steam. Weve been conditioned to expect the BIG thing that tells us, but thats the lie, we shilled ourselves.

In the physical, do what you dont want to do, its that time. Those things that you mentally coddled yourself with, ignoring the deeper call of fear, now is the time you must do them. Our choices include leaping, living, or becoming the poor cow...

In the spiritual, surround yourself with crystals and rainbows, for they DO have the simplest of answers, mine have never failed me. If you dont have the answer you seek, they can be your guides. Though temptation is strong to ignore them, its follly, they are here for a reason.

IF you are lucky, like I have been, you have LIVED without prepping, with the ability to prep within 2 weeks or so. NOW is that time for last chances

I dont know how many more posts I can make as time is short, but you wouldnt let your puppy swim with great whites would you?

Heed your guts today, leave your hearts at home

Hole-eee-Fuck!

Maybe just coincidence seeing as we are at the start of the Military Budgetary Fiscal Year and these "missions"/training exercises are planned way in advance, but Assumption?? GTFO!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24713533

My comment was a bit more than sarcastic as I'm not sure these kinds of events can be "planned"...but...

It isn't about paranoia. It's about geology, AC. Study up on the shelf the DWH was drilling on. Then remember that the aftermath of the DWH accident wasn't just oil coming to the surface, it's massive amounts of methane being released then and now. It hasn't stopped. That shelf, and the methane/NG under it, isn't just some random pocket of gas. It's part of the entire natural gas reserve that encompasses most of the North Eastern and Central parts of the United States and goes all the way up into Canada. The name of the formation escapes me at the moment. Interestingly enough, take a look at the picture at this link and then think of the US Navy map that has been shown of that area should a catastrophic earthquake along the Madrid fault happen.

Picture is on the right side of this page:

Sandia's involvement is seriously disturbing. They are in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM RELATED to anything regarding sinkholes. Why is nobody noticing this?

 Quoting: Halo2Alexis™

Maybe they're on hand to deploy some of their "blast-suppresion foam", to be used in cases of chemical, biological or radiological materials. Can also suppress "an explosive blast by absorbing the force of the shock wave within its chemically engineered bubble structure." Also able to "envelop chemical or biological aerosols in its aqueous bubble structure...".

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24614172

Don't know if this has any bearing at all, but both Sandia and the Venter Institute advertised for Ph.D.'s in virology, Venter on 08/27 and Sandia on 09/18.

Did we know about any link between Venter and NALCO (makers of the popular Corexit)?

There's a Kathryn A. Venter working at NALCO Sugar Land, TX:

I don't know if Venter has any kids, but if he does and this is his daughter (or maybe niece?), it might explain his presence at Nalco's being named 2012 Water Technology Company of the Year ceremony:

Or maybe he has an even more direct link........

Thanks Little Fish - some interesting info!

Of note:
Chevron supposedly started pulling from it's cavern storage before mid-Aug. Seems to be some confusion as to what they actually did, but they didn't sound like they were going to wait to see what was going to happen to the TX Brine cavern!

Crosstex has also been moving product out of their caverns...again, no hesitation about hanging around to see what was going to happen!

Remember what was noted earlier?? Subtraction and addition? Every time there is a drawdown, the cavern gets bigger....and it sounds like there's a lot of drawdown going on! Wonder who else is leaving some big, empty caverns???

 Quoting: justanothergranny

That "subtraction and addition" was emphasized several times.

One of the first responses that I know of, to this developing situation, was to start moving the butane out of the nearby cavern. Apparently other caverns have been emptied as noted above.

So what goes into the caverns where material has been removed? Air? Do they pump water in to empty them?

Are they creating gas-and-air filled, explosive voids under pressure?

They inject water to push out whats in there, The water erodes a bit more of the salt so the cavern gets a little bigger.

East Texas here again. Because of yesterday's issue with the static IP being compromised, I seriously advise all not to trust what comes from AC/1956 (can't remember the whole number). This is being addressed but any legit info will no longer be coming from me on that IP. I will return to it in the future once the current issues are past, IF the are. Some will choose to trust me, some wont, I can't control that, I would only say this: the voices (all of them) warning you have been RIGHT...haven't they?

An earlier response I worked out the meaning of the anagram.
