Rice is the mystery word, so I looked up the company in charge. Brine is the company drilling. I googled Brine and rice. And got this.

So what can we do from the outside? Should we just do what we can to bring attention to the situation?

I started a thread on it yesterday before even seeing this one. I just wish there was more I could do.

Thread: Sinkhole in Assumption Parish Louisana vs Hurrican Issac...who will win?

I agree! how far out are we needing to warn people if this goes boom? I'm not going to pretend to even be able to guess. Anyone? We need some kind of an estimate before we truely go viral. Let's have GLP warn/save as many people as we can!!!

they've been storing radioactive waste in the salt caverns or something like that. as far as the explosive part of it, there is a cavern full of butane about 1500 ft. from the sinkhole. there is some scenario where it could explode because of that.

I think I figured this out, I just hope that this thread is not deleted before you can all read this.

Rice is in reference to atomic bomb testing. The earthquakes in Brawley earlier today were not earthquakes, they were probably nuclear underground tests. They were probably testing a nuke or nukes which they are planning to detonate in the sinkhole in Louisiana.

The sinkhole most likely never had radiation in it. It was a cover story so that when they detonate a nuke, people would think that it came from the sinkhole. The methane gas that they claim is in the hole is also a cover story for the huge explosion that will occur when the nuke is detonated.

The OP is probably in Assumption Parish which is about an hour from Baton Rouge by road. If a nuke is set off in the sinkhole and Isaac hits it, it will carry radioactivity to Baton Rouge's Blue Bayou Waterpark where children play.

The name of the storm is also suspicious because Abraham was about to sacrifice his child, Isaac, to God but God spared Isaac at the last minute.

All of this connects to the Gulf Oil Spill from a couple years back. The sinkhole is probably occurring because of the New Madrid fault and is connected to the area where the New Horizon oil rig exploded. All this stuff is on the same line.

Does anyone have ANY idea if this thing blows how much time people on the coast would have to bug out?
I have looked at several USA FUTURE maps and they show different results.
I don't know whether to stay put in East/Central NC or head to the mountains.
I also have ALL of my family in the PA/NJ/NYC area so would like to advise them as well.

Radiation from where?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13376778

" Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LA DEQ) released the results of testing for NORM showing Radium-226 was detected as being present at a concentration of 63.569 pCi/liter while Radium-228 was detected as being present at a concentration of 18.705 pCi/liter. While State officials are saying naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) is below hazardous levels independent testings has confirmed that radium-226 and radium-228 levels at sinkhole are about 15 times higher than the safe limits and state’s soil contamination standards.

“Radium in the body is absorbed because it is chemically similar to calcium. The normal maximum guideline level for radium in surface water is 5 picoCuries per liter, (pCi/L). The state’s testing found 82 pCi/L in the water of the growing sinkhole. Radium gives off alpha’ radiation. This form of radiation is extremely dangerous if inhaled or ingested, and less dangerous if exposed by skin contact.“ Marco Kaltofen, Boston Chemical Data Corp. (for Examiner)

Decaying of radium produces radon which is radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. Toxic radium could leak into nearby groundwater making it serious threat to health. Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN) already found elevated levels of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, other volatile organic compounds and components of natural gas and radium, as well as other airborne chemicals associated with highly explosive butane (stored in cavern near the sinkhole).
