Folks, whatever could have been done, can't.
Only thing to do know is pray and get provisions.
And I mean enough for quite some time. Folks will end up everywhere before it's over. And THAT is gonna take some time.

In summary, the sinkhole is spreading, the sinkhole is poisonous, and the sinkhole will breach into surrounding caverns where corporations have saved money by storing gas, and dumping a plethora of toxins.
