The Dawgs are going to the pound soon, to "sniff out" other parts. We hope we have informed CUZZ, that's what we do.

All the pieces, all the stuff we hoped you'd heed, the time to hope is now past.

Is this about the closure of phelps?

Henderson said the land was "donated with the idea that it could revert to the original owners if it wasn't used as a prison," he said.

The Edgewood Land & Logging Company, Ltd. also reserved all of the oil, gas and other mineral rights in the land transaction, the deed states.

Sign a petition to make assumption sinkhole a national disaster DAWG said something to the nature that they did not want others involved so maybe we need to get others involved. They guy on lasinkhole.wordpress.com says that it would be hard for a media blackout if it was a national disaster. Please if you think it is a good idea bump my thread so more people can see or even repost with a catchers title to get more people to look. My question is if it becomes a natural disaster will the locals lose more of their rights. It seems that currently the residents are being ignored but would a declaration help or hurt them?

my response to your thread
and pertains here

"and in the end, people will beg the gov't to bring martial law to save us all

oh please great and all knowing feds fix it for us

end sarcasm

now, how about the people take over

maybe la needs a state owned gas company after their attorny general siezes the assets of all the companies involved for public endangerment

even better the parish does it
deputize all residents left in the area

declare parish law

you have the right, stone up and do it"

You make alot of sense but the sad fact is that will interfere with their television schedule and they have to see who got cut from Idol and who won the game. Those things are MUCH more important. I don't know why you don't have your priorities straight... GET a GRIP!

Does anyone have ANY idea if this thing blows how much time people on the coast would have to bug out?
I have looked at several USA FUTURE maps and they show different results.
I don't know whether to stay put in East/Central NC or head to the mountains.
I also have ALL of my family in the PA/NJ/NYC area so would like to advise them as well.
Any ideas?

Gas Basin around Tuscaloosa? I hope the hell not. I have a son at Bama. Funny though, I had just posted on another thread that he called me last night kind of freaked out. He got caught late at night at a railroad crossing for a long time, and it was all military vehicles headed towards Mississippi. He said it was miles of them, all types. He normally rolls his eyes at me for my concerns, but this freaked him out. He also said that the old football field in Hueytown, Al which is about 40 minutes East of the campus towards Birmingham has been fenced in, and has military vehicles around it as well as police. There is no reason for that to happen that I know of. I am making inquires now to people I know that live there as to why. There was a new school and field built last year, but I thought the old field was being used by the middle school and so on. My point is, why is the military in Hueytown?

If you hear anything else to do with the gas basin please let us know. Thanks!
