Not sure about these numbers but could it have something to do with a location in the gulf as someone else stated earlier and a Rig 26 in Zone Block 3? Just trying to look at all sides of the box.
Quoting: Paa Tal Pretty sure ALL oil deposits in the gulf are numbered/that's how they're located all of them are assigned numbers=locations.. none are named anything..the floating rigs have names like 'deep water horizon' But where they're getting the oil from has an assigned number...anyone checked that out? Quoting: ceawaves [ link to www.bloomberg.com] Bloomberg reported it as Ship Shoal 223B Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24168355 Ship shoal 223 Approx. 40 (43 maybe??) Miles offshore. So we are looking at an area going from there to gulfport and let's now make a circle around assumption that encompasses this rig and gulfport. Possibly the area that needs to GTFO? Quoting: wishiwas Possibly. Saw the massive whirlpools that occured after Japan '11? Though no one's ever seen it, can you get your mind's eye wrapped around a magma vortex? Deep below the surface, pancake layers of sediment, water, methane hydrate, magma, bedrock, mantle, crust, etc., all the way down to the core. I'm seeing magma move in ways we don't think of when we think of that type of fluid moving. And of course the velocity of the fluid's movement is different. All driven by the activity in the Indian Ocean, which is exactly the antipode for the GOM. [ link to blogs.laweekly.com] My two cents.
