Just went to USGS home page and this is what popped up: [ link to www.usgs.gov] WTF? Forever crossed out and that looks like a big crater...idk...maybe I need to go to bed. ^THIS! Me too. Doom Overload. Stamp description: Mount St. Helens and its surrounding area continue to recover from the explosive eruption of May 1980. Shades of white and gray indicate still-bare slopes; dark “rivers” are deep channels cut by fast-moving flows of hot ash, rock and gas. Green represents regrowth of vegetation. But still, the FOREVER crossed out is unsettling at best.
