Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
I wonder how far west? Beaumont is west....almost lined up perfectly.

The power plant also is west.

These plants make me very nervous....almost like they're not being considered as part of the equation in a worse case scenario.

I have been researching all of them in the country, and out of 104, there are MANY that are leaking. Had read one estimate to be upwards of 75%...which was shocking. Even half that amount would be shocking.

They are dangerous in perfect circumstances, but are now aging to the point of needing extensive upgrades/repairs, which of course translates to lots and lots of money.

Here's the info on the one west of baton rouge. Scary that these plants are being pushed past the point of their original operating level. Now they're old & leaky and they're still being pushed to the brink. I think it's like playing russian roulette...one day the luck will run out

River Bend Station (St Francisville, Louisiana)
1 Operating Nuclear Reactor
Boiling Water Reactor (same type as Fukushima)
Operating License Issued 26 years ago
Operating at 106.7% of Original Design

Within 10-mile Evacuation Zone:
45,000 People (2010 Total Population)
7 Public Schools
4 Hospitals

Within 50-mile Potential Contamination Zone:
1,014,000 People (2010 Total Population)
282 Public Schools
39 Hospitals

Here's the link if you'd like to check the others.

The 5 most unsafe reactors as determined by the NRC (nuclear regulatory commission) in this country are all positioned on the east coast, and most of them are also being pushed past their original operating limits.

Just doesn't make sense.

She handles herself just fine and if you've done any research on her at all or listened to any of her shows you'd know her name and can google her just like anyone else. You'd also find, with just a little digging here that her and I, very often post from the same UserID, same modem, hmmm, what does that tell you? Yes I'm deeply connected to her and you're not looking so intelligent right now. What was your comment, oh yeah here, "Not all of us here are sheep and have had certain jobs.", your job obviously did not involve intelligence gathering.
 Quoting: siniXster

so you use the same office. google has nothing on her but that recent added internet radio site, and her appearances on Deagle and crew. no cache pics, no distant info that shows any interest in defending the truth. she was suddenly inserted into the seedy alternative scene, w/ links to O/r/acle which most people know is a front for CIA propaganda. you do what paid shills do, throw out insults with no substance, no verifiable facts -- just emotion filled accusations and conjecture. you constantly reference the old GoM sites like enenews and such. fear porn. you do not listen to debate, it's your message or "you're a shill!" over and over, and these sad sad riddles and dawg. c'mon. WTF dude. how can you live with yourself? sell outs of humanity these creeps. gross energy
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13507730

Yup. Every time I've posted, that's been the response. Still waiting to see where I have demanded anything. All this concern for Assumption parish, supposedly, yet I've posted numerous times that I am a local, and am treated like the enemy because *I* choose to question the OP(s).
 Quoting: Patassa

a local? and these shill bots supposedly reside in Michigan. more like a base on the Florida panhandle, or some seedy office as described in those I'm an ex shill and spilling the beans threads. they are getting paid to cause insanity in people, and I wish I was kidding. and to float disinfo around the net, sending people down endless rabbit holes. this is some sick stuff. read on the Moore, Nibiru is here thread about a suicide in Britain that happened because of this stuff -- impending catastrophe. incredible no lawyers have gotten them yet, because I can assure their employers will only protect them so far, and that is not much as they are waiting to throw them under the bus in favor of enacting draconian laws for the internet. another long range set up. evil eats its own.

I don't feel you're an enemy at all P, you're a name on a screen, but I've ran into you previously on other threads and you've always been argumentative and never actually had a stance, facts or anything to substantiate what you say, that's beside the point. I have no real proof that you're from Assumption but if you are you have my sincerest sympathy and wish for safety, I for one wouldn't be staying.

There is plenty of documented proof as well as an order to evac the area, this is not a made-up scenario. I don't understand what you're trying to prove here.
 Quoting: siniXster

How very completely wrong you are. EVERYthing I post, I back up with links. Yeh, when I see people post that "they are keeping things from us" and I post that they have clearly said "we DON'T know", and then 2 posts later I see the same thing posted, or when I try to explain that the cypress trees are NOT dying, and some one from Oklahoma and who has probably never even seen a swamp is going to argue with me about it, then yeh, I become argumentative too.

As far as proof, you have moderators here don't you? They can check my IP, if they don't already see it. It will show as Morgan City because that's where my IP is. 20 miles away. Thing is, why would I say I'm local if I'm not? What would be the point?
 Quoting: Patassa

Ok P, let's start over here then, I'll take your word that you're from the area. What is your point here, are you arguing the authenticity of the original OP? If that is indeed the case I'm not the one to argue your point with...as I stated, whether or not this thread is fact or fiction makes no difference on my beliefs about the situation as a whole, it's happening, it's serious and it could very well affect the whole country in a horribly negative way.
 Quoting: siniXster

Okay. Starting over. Yes, my point is arguing the authenticity of the OP, but I wasn't trying to argue that point with you. I was asking you what is it that you see that he has said that has come true, that I haven't seen? Why do you believe him and I don't?

I don't doubt that a lot of what y'all are saying is happening, and could be true. But I have been at the doorstep of the bubbling, tremors and sinkhole since day one. I see the fear in the local residents, as well as the officials, because it's obvious that they (officials) are lost. They admit it. I see it as a chain of events that were all triggered by a failed cavern last year, and nothing else.
 Quoting: Patassa

I would say that most here agree with what you just said. The people who are working on the "problem" have been warning us about the seriousness. So far they have either been incredibly lucky or "in the know".

^ this ^ type of stuff is what I think mean the most as far as validity. Whether DAWG/CUZZ/ET are real or just role-playing is pretty insignificant at this point. Why? Because we know the problem is real. We've seen the fly-overs. The massive amount of purchase orders. The movement of troops, ect

All you need to do is look at everything from a point of it can be verified or not. If it can: good..that means 1 more piece of the puzzle.

And if it can't....that's fine too. Just move on to the next clue or bit of information. Focus your energies where it can be beneficial..not mis-directed into something irrrevelant.

Has anyone evrer noticed when threads really start developing good info, these pissing matches/shill/Disinfo/confusing BS/ paranoia starts....lol

This is a failed cavern again, and all of this could have been possibly prevented if the failure had been followed up on. It wasn't. A salt dome failure would indeed be catastrophic, but that hasn't happened. All near pipelines have been emptied and closed. The butane and gas caverns are being moved. The free underground gas is the problem, and that may never get resolved, but I can't see it being a manipulational thing.

First look at 223.43, as in page 223 from Title 43, Natural Resources from the Louisiana Administrative Code (Note: link below provides sections in word format. the first is 153 pages, so goto the second word document and go to page 70!! 153+70=223).

Subpart 2. Transportation of Natural Gas and Other Gas by Pipeline [49 CFR Part 191] Chapter 3. Annual Reports, Incident Reports and Safety Related Condition Reports [49 CFR Part 191]

"Incident - any of the following events:
a. an event that involves a release of gas from a pipeline, or of liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, refrigerant gas, or gas from an LNG facility, and that results in one or more of the following consequences"

LNG facility = liquefied natural gas facility => salt cavern

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
...

I cannot substantiate anything the OP of this thread has stated other than connections we've all made with the info given and I never stated I believed him/her/them, I am following a story and continuing my own research. I can only go with what is resonant to me, I can in no way answer why you do not believe or disbelieve anything.

I can appreciate your opinion that there are no other ties here but a failed salt dome, I personally disagree and feel it is much much deeper and worse than that. I wish I could agree with you but I don't.
 Quoting: siniXster

But it not a failed salt dome. It is a failed brine cavern. I see people using these terms interchageably, and they are not. They are 2 separate things. Caverns have failed before. We had cavern failure in 2003, Christmas day. People were not even given time to pick up presents under their trees. Nothing but slabs were an entire community used to be.
 Quoting: Patassa

I truly hope that you are 100% correct.

The souls here are trying very hard to educate themselves on topics that most have never tackled before, we are all learning together, that's the point of a forum. A word or two is going to get misused in the process.
 Quoting: siniXster

I hope that I am 100% correct too, although I also realize I may indeed have to leave my home to never return. That scares me almost as much as the thought of death does others. We do love our little bayou community.

I know you know the difference between a cavern and salt dome, and really, it's important for anyone vested in this to know the difference too. Because there is a BIG difference.

And I didn't care at first, but sincerely wish I knew of a way to prove that yes, I am a local. I'm open to suggestions.

Patassa

I was beginning to wonder if you were ok. Can you give us any new information on your area?
 Quoting: Marsute

Thank you Marsute. There is nothing new at this point. I believe they postphoned the resident meeting from today until Tuesday because they will have the results of the cavern content tests back by then.

I see 3 new air monitors, and I see the Shaw people building the pad for one of the vent wells. Otherwise very quiet.

Thanks for asking.
 Quoting: Patassa

Thank you P :)

Apologies if I misunderstood you earlier, easy to do sometimes.
 Quoting: siniXster

It's ok. I have learned to stay out of sight now and simply read and separate on my own. However, I know you are in the area and know you might have information other don't.

Take care of you and your family first...prayers

Apology accepted...:-)

Now, I am off to do a little fishing while I still can. (I just won't eat anything I catch from this bayou any more. And THAT is a sad thing to say.)

No need to prove it to me P, I can feel you and I do believe you. My heart goes out to you and everyone involved. Terrible and terrifying situation with a very human story that is affecting us all. The one thing I found on GLP is that there is a lot of love and support here to share with souls that desperately need it.

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
Did anyone happen to catch the blurb on the news this morning about an old ship they found in the Mississippi? Sorry, I didn't catch where in the Mississippi, and I just searched Google and can't find a thing. It was a blurb this morning on the news.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25068821

Was that the one that had sank during WW2? With the munitions still aboard? I didn't see it on tv, something online, but I didn't read the original story. Just had come acrossed someone else blogging about it. I'll see if I can find it
 Quoting: ladyannie2009

It did have munitions on it. I didn't recall when it was sunk, the impression I got from the blurb was that because of the shallowness of the Mississippi right now is why it is starting to show. I was hearing this as I was waking up, or probably would have tried to pay more attention. Still can't believe I couldn't find anything on Google about it.
Thanks for seeing what you can find, LadyAnnie

Has anyone evrer noticed when threads really start developing good info, these pissing matches/shill/Disinfo/confusing BS/ paranoia starts....lol
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8637765

so where is all this good info you're talking about? names, corporations, specifics? all I see is DAWG and the usual shill bots hiding behind different avatars doing 3rd grade nursery rhymes. ewww, great info.

Why are you here? What are you doing on GLP? If you believe all the chit you are spewing on the threads is true for you, why waste your time here?

F'k me freddy, wtf!!! Never saw this, wow...

This happened just before the "Zombie Virus" and the flesh eating bacteria started turning up

Whoever stole some discarded equipment from outside a pathology lab may have gotten more than he or she bargained for.

Orlando police say the equipment, worth about $500,000, is contaminated with a substance that could eat away at human skin.

A pickup hauling a trailer pulled up to Florida Hospital Center for Diagnostic Pathology, 2855 N. Orange Ave., on May 3 and took the equipment from an enclosed area near a large garbage bin, police said. The theft was not reported until Friday, said St. Vince Ogburn, a police spokesman.

WOW! Looks like we got too close again and the shills came out in full force! My favorite was Dr. Whatever the heck his name is calling SiniXster a shill! that's a good one! Let's set the record straight for those that are 'new' or haven't followed the whole thread...if SiniXster says something you best LISTEN! And for the folks claiming 'role playing'..I know, it's so horrible of a situation it's hard to take it all in. We understand, it's ok, ignorance is blizz. Go ahead and go on with your day then and leave the thread. For I assure the rest of you THIS IS NO GAME. Now for those seeking the truth, let's get back to fact finding. hf

Good afternoon SkinnyC, thank you for the kudo's tounge,
I'm just a watchman trying to figure this out like everyone else. That being said, we did ruffle their feathers didn't we, hehe, they're so self-defeating and they don't even realize it. Then again arrogance does breed stupidity does it not?! :)

Have you glanced at the helicorders in the Bayou area today, not looking good, lot's of sustained movement and tremors.

Looks like the volume has lightened but the tremors have increased.
