I found this too. Cool site. Has a large list of ships that have sank w/ location etc. Gulf of Mexico 1943 Date Ship Type Cause Result Location Deaths 01/10/43 Norwalk Freighter Collision Sunk GulfMexico Crew 1 03/11/43 Olancho Freighter (Honduras or Panama Torpedo Sunk GulfMexico Crew 3 04/03/43 Gulfstate Tanker Torpedo Sunk GulfMexico Crew 30 12/03/43 Touchet Tanker Torpedo Sunk GulfMexico AG 10 [ link to www.usmm.org] I honestly don't know what I heard, but they showed a pic like of the front 1/3 of the ship out of the water, and I coulda swore it was something to do with how low the Mississippi is right now. Thanks for looking anyway, maybe something will come up more recent. This did sound recent, like something that you could just SEE right now and like couldn't last week or something! Thanks for trying tho!
