Do you guys think that maybe the people who were given the steroid shots are getting this disease first simply because the steroid diminishes their immune system and allows the spores from someplace else take hold?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1443074

Also possible those steroids really mess with the immune system big time.

in order to understand what the status of these plastic things could be, we need to answer a couple questions

where were they made? my guess china

was cindy oil used to make them? no way to know

where did they come into our country thru? maybe port of NO?

either way the possibility exhists that rather than the plastic being internally contaninated, I would suspect a biofilm. if glutonous cindy eats oil, why not plastic made with oil. if you eat meat, you eat meat. don't over think this stuff
trucks run down hwy 10 all day long. whats that gunk on the road? splash, nevermind
its not like any muddy trucks have been driving around the sinkhole and then hit the highway
or evacuees with their rvs, boats and
campers
i would look more towards the where did evacuees go, and such. any of these sick FROM la, and in another state
oil patch workers
fedral or fema workers or inspectors

oh and sorry reaper, no maps

but boy that doc I quoted is so interesting, people all should read it
salt is plastic, ya know
too LITTLE pressure causes salt caverns to contract
it the texas brine one had lost pressure, its wall could have been pushed by one of the caverns (53 in that dome, I think)
interesting doc, and boy have they killed lots of people in it from this same stuff

dr
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25150730

Yep I've read that, they expect any little cracks to just disappear as the salt slides over and fixes it's self, but it seems it's not something that happens indefinitely. Salt domes seem to have a shelf life.

Starting to think there is an issue with a nearby coalbed methane that is effecting the salt cavern.

Did you say coal bed?

I knew they had shale there that they frack for methane, wasn't aware they were doing anything with coal. You got me thinking of that alight bit in one of the Dawg posts.

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
Ok, I am going to stick to the medical since that is what I seem to know best right now.

1. There have already been two types of fungi that have been identified among the sick/deceased. Aspergillus and Exserohilum-both of these fungi are found in back yards -- Exserohilum can cause leaf spot but it's also been known to cause skin and sinus infections. Aspergillus causes lung infections in cancer, HIV and other patients with suppressed immune systems (think steroids)

2. The drugs at fault were made in what are called compound pharmacies. These facilities are not FDA regulated. Reason being, they take manufactured drugs and mix them with other compounds (at the sole discretion of the pharmacist) to create a 'new' drug. This 'new' drug is not required to be tested by the FDA for safety and if you do a google search you will see that ill effects from compound drugs are widespread.

3. These compound pharmacies often do their 'mixing' at the back room kitchen sink. While they do have state regulations to follow, contamination is more frequent than what you see from FDA regulated facilities. (one of the fungi identified is common and found on bread)

4.Protocol for patients admitted depend on presenting symptoms. (broad spectrum antibiotics are often given to patients suspected of having an infection-think killing off good and bad bacteria allows fungus to flourish) Fungus takes longer to grow as a collected specimen than bacteria, hence why the delay in getting the proper medication to the patients, as well as why it is taking so long for patients to present with symptoms. ( even fungi growing in spinal fluid will take a while to flourish and release its toxins)

The perfect storm was created. No drug regulation, contamination, misunderstood diagnosis and possible incorrect treatment upon presented symptoms.

As far as dawgs saying that this ties in and does not seem to be meningitis, well they are going to have to cough up some clues to back that up. So far, it appears, just as we are being told by the CDC. Just my two cents.

By the way, the main reason I am stuck to this topic over the fault/GOM/dome is because while I can think logically about the medicinal issue, there is SOMETHING that still isn't sitting right with me about the whole thing.

I am not sure what it is...but something is off. For me, it's like one of those moments when you are speaking in public and you forget the next word....you know it's there, but for the life of you, can not remember it.

You are welcome.

My suggestion. If you have been the recipient of one of those shots, do not delay in getting treatment if you start feeling sick. Fungal infections are curable but hard to treat. Do not delay in seeking medical advice if you feel ill!!!

Big Dawg here, important update on meningitis issue. Pay close attention to news stories and seek out friends or family who may become infected with 'meningitis' - question the medical staff and find out if meningitis truly fits the symptoms. We have learned a few things that give us reason to suspect that these 'cases' are being called meningitis - but are in fact something else.

From what we've learned the truth of this illness would in fact point directly to a substance used during the Deepwater Horizon incident (NOT Synthia and NOT Corexit but a bio component nonetheless). If true, therefore gives some proof of the connection between DWH and Assumption. More as we find out more.

good morning all! just had some information I wanted to share. I've been doing much research, and will give a more detailed report asap, but I wanted to get this out there for anyone that it may help.

first, I am not a doctor or a nurse. this is an opinion and/or theory and should not be taken as fact. if you or a family member/friend are having medical symptoms that you are concerned about, please visit your doctor or clinic.

I have not been able to catch up on all of the threads, so if this has been discussed/mentioned, I apologize in advance.

there is a bacteria called 'listeria'.....it's often spread through contaminated food. fresh fruits and vegetables as well as anything processed. Including cheese.

the bacteria is nasty...very very nasty and can present itself as 'flu-like' symptoms. once the bacteria enters your body, the infecttion is called 'listeriosis'

incubation varies, so it's hard to know when/if someone was infected through a specific food source. but it can be anywhere from 3-70 days.

because the bacteria is aggressive and has such a wide range for incubation, it is common to be mis-diagnosed with either meningitis and/or encephelitis as these are SYMPTOMS of a listeria infection because the bacteria migrate to the spinal/brain fluid.

in the past couple of months, there have been food recalls on spinach, butter (microwave popcorn), and various cheeses.

just wanted to give you guys the heads-up. I'll share the other stuff later when I have more time

Nice to see the thread getting back on track. But it would seem we have been infected by tunnel vision. We are looking at the effects thinking they are the cause.

Step back and take in a larger view. The GOM and sink hole are but symptoms of a larger problem, that is a global phenomena and those thinking this issue the sink hole is just a local one may find similar situations knocking on there door, in the not to distant future. Keep looking up.

On another note if I'm not mistaken the Dawgs seem to implying that it might be to late already for any one exposed, like those living in the gulf. I hope that I'm misreading his statements and/or they are wrong.

In regards the current situation regarding the deaths and growing numbers of people getting sick, I think we need more information before jumping to any conclusion....But you kne that. sk

PS dawgs thanks for you continued input and everyone else for their sleuthing.

SkinnyC, I was just listening and responding to the producer of that vid...I'd stake everything I own on the fact that the sounds they are hearing is methane, and whatever else is mixed in, being pushed thru the NM Fault system. It's escaping somewhere, this is why the wind seems to pick up as the sound does. Not a good scenario being that it's closer to the surface, running out of places to hide so to speak,

Re: Don't make ASSUMPTIONS; try to Understand.
Ive been hesitant to tell my personal story as I don't have any "facts" per se to back it up.

Little background...two years ago I had my first complete out of body type vision. Now, I know I'm an intuitive and get most of my signs from ideas that randomly pop into my head. For example, I knew the moment the Haiti earthquake was happening, I was out shopping and suddenly just freaked out knowing that thousands of people were dying- same with the EQ in Japan. I diagnosed my own cancer and type before I even saw a doctor and had to convince them it was real. I also felt a friend of mines son was going to be sexually abused hours before it happened and warned her with a phone call. Luckily, knowing me, she watched and sure enough was able to stop in just at the beginning. Anyway...

In short, I SAW from above the world below me on fire and in devastation, and although I didn't SEE my niece and nephew in Memphis, I knew that they were in need, their parents were dead and I needed to protect them. At the time I was living near the west coast and was "driven" to consider moving by them. I woke in the middle of the night with a thought and googled my brother's house and looked at the house across the street from him and discovered it was vacant. Next day, contacted the owner and by chance he was willing to sell even though it wasn't on the market...I bought it and moved.

I started researching what could be connected with the "vision". Soon found GLP in regards to solar events and earthquakes and via all of that info came to feel that the "event" I experienced was related to the New Madrid which I sit atop.

Just before I moved I was a moderator on a financial forum and friends with another mod that was a SGT MJ and worked for DOD in specialized IT and Communications related to FEMA and DHS. When he heard I was moving to Memphis he immediately told me it was a bad idea and we had some long phone conversations about it. He begged me to reconsider and in the course of the conversation told me that because of his security clearance he could only say the following...in a nutshell...

The NM was a VERY dangerous place to be
Sent me the Navy map we all see so frequently
Told me to heavily research all the gov info on the NM
That he is in EAST TEXAS and was planning to move his family further into central TX soon
To research the BP disaster
That the blow up was INTENTIONAL

It seemed odd to me at the time that he spoke of the BP thing since I couldn't see the connection...obviously a year later it makes some sense.

Ive mentioned a bit of this over the last year on GLP as relevant topics have come up in threads but not in this detail because he trusted me and I feel he was going out of his way to be helpful as a friend.

One of the reasons I can't get away from this thread --because all of my pieces seem to be coming together finally. I'm not saying that he is related to the dawgs but this is why this scenario resonates with me.

Just putting it out there...be kind!tomato
