Okay, I have tried to catch up since early this afternoon. P, I sent you a PM. As I read through the thread I noticed mention of coal bed and methane. I had seen this mentioned a few times before but did not register it till just now.
Think of the VA coal mine explosion, the Utah explosion, the KY explosion and many more...all methane related...
I guess my question is one, any coal miners in the house, two, with the area being wet could this keep the methane from exploding???
More research to do...
One thing that P said that struck me not exact quote but P said I am only thinking of my family, home...the things in my back yard. Think about it that's how most think. We as a people only think of things that may impact us. We need to think outside of the box. Thankful most here are thinking of the bigger picture. You guys have dug and found more information. It really does not matter who sent us on this journey of research. Fact is look what you all have found. There is always an action to a reaction, so to speak.
GREAT WORK !!!!!
Quoting: miabelieves Look at my last posts over the last few days, there is video that shows how they drill to get to the coalbed. They usually are not very thick, so they end up drilling horizontal once they get to the coalbed. Look at the lake verret gas field.
