Ok, I just HAD to peek. I wondered what the link was between fungus (recent cases) and Craig Venter, or if there even was one. [ link to www.jcvi.org] If I read this right. Synthia -the first artifical life that reproduced- was created with chemicals, a computer and the genome of a fungus. Can anyone out there follow my thinking and/or elaborate???????
