You MUST see 2016!!!!!

maybe socialism isn't the answer. but we know capitalism is not the answer either since it got us into this economic mess. it promotes competition. a little bit of competition isn't too bad and can be good... but when it is abused and everyone becomes utra competitive to get ahead and 'earn' their money they become obsessive and addicted to money. then others who aren't as competitive but instead are cooperative have to suffer even when they try to help others... this is fair? capitalism is fair? what is fair about making others suffer? the human race is doomed if we focus on being too competitive with each other. if this is fair then i don't foresee humanity ever developing an empathetic side. now i'm not saying socialism is the way to go, but what is the way to go is to become a cooperative society working to help others.. not just yourself. Otherwise you have a society full of sociopaths. Who cares if someone who does less work then you is getting a free ride and gets some of your money that you 'earned yourself'. get over it. learn to have empathy for others and be a true human so that we can finally take our place in our galactic society among the stars.

now in our capitalist society there are a few individuals who stand out over the rest. those who do make a lot of money but also donate a lot of their own to other to make a better world. Do you think Bill Gates really deserves his billions of dollars? All he did was convince IBM to use his DOS operating system (that didn't even exist) and to get royalties from it. I think Bill Gates would agree he doesn't deserve all of his money. That is why he at least donates it for good causes around the world.

5. Despite preaching freedom, still deny equal rights to consenting, tax-paying adults for simply who they happen to fall in love with because of difference of religious beliefs (although founding fathers stressed church and state seperation).
6. Plan an attack on itself killing thousands of its own people for the pursuit of greed.

I agree! This movie has a build-up with "WOW" moments all through it supported by undeniable truth! It is brought to you on the big screen and in your face! You won't be able to ignore it! This man won't be satisfied until America's playing field is brought down to the level of the other 3rd world countries! He has the same philosphy as the AC that has posted several times on this thread. He thinks its unfair that America has prospered while other 3rd world nations are falling behind. He will only be content once our wealth is given away. When you watch this movie and its all layed out for you, you'll wonder how the American people could have been so blind and stupid! And when you see the gut-wrenching end of the film, whether or not you believe in God, you'll still want to pray that God will intervene before this great nation is lost! Believe it or not, this nation will just be a sad memory if Obama is re-elected! Please see this movie and decide for yourself!

Of course, that's the entire American history right there. Focus on the bad, and ignore the good - you seem to be excellent at this. Don't mention any of the good things America has done, like helping to defeat the Nazis, landing on the moon, and aiding other countries in need. Your hatred has truly blinded you.

i'm pretty much at the point where i dont' think recovery is possible. it isn't about this issue vs. that issue. it's about a century long american apathy to corruption and allowing our country to be disassembled. i'm no longer of the 'lets make a change' ilk. i'm pretty much just disappearing to a ranch where i can live in the beautiful country and not take part in the systems that have defeated us. to me now, the highest form of protest is a total lack of acknowledgement that taxes and government even exist.
