Symptoms of demonic influence or attack!

I understand you believe the Gospels to be factual... But how can we independently verify that the messages contained therein actually came from the Creator of our Universe and not simply from the consciousness of an enlightened human?

btw someone referred me to the Gospel of Thomas not long ago and I saw some good messages contained in there.... I still contend that I cannot verify the author of said information so I choose to place my focus on the message and not the messenger (which can't be confirmed).

I've lived 50+ years and I know a thing or 2 myself. I couldn't be bothered sharing it with you however since you seem to already concluded that the only god worth worshiping is the one in your mirror.

The difference to me is simple... if it were not for Jesus Christ I would probably not believe in God... And therefore if Jesus was just a man and did not claim to to be the son of God I yet would still study his teachings and try to be as much like him as I could. But because of my experiences with the demonic spirits and people I now know the power of the name of Jesus Christ... Were you alive when the Bible was written? If not, how can you verify that the individuals who wrote it were inspired by God's spirit? Serious question.... Secondly, how do you know that the human mind had no influence in what was written?

YouTube is full of users claiming to have received visions/messages from God.... Do a simple search and looked at all the failed predictions that were purported to be messages from God.... Here is even a thread with multiple individuals claiming that the east coast of the U.S. will be wiped out by a mega-tsunami caused by the Canary Islands seismic activity, this will happen by August 31st because the user says God says it will be do:

So is God speaking through this man? If this doesn't happen by the 31st, is God a liar? Or will we just conclude that this individual isn't at true believer, even though we don't even know him?

God does not need to forewarn us about any coming catastrophy for he has already warned us to be ready and prepared for the return of the son of God. This man clearly does not speak to God or vice versus.

That is New Age doctrine as well as Material Existentialism. You simply dispute these things (in one sense) because you've never had experience with the supernatural. Once you have, no one, no matter how well based the counter argument is posed, can mislead you about the experience. Demonic attack is real, demonic influence is real. You of course have an absolute right to your opinion but you are incorrect. Demonic attack generally occurs between the hours of 12 midnight until 3:30. In my personal experience, it began with a deafening noise which I can only liken to that of a railroad train. The attack was unexpected, shocking and not something I conjured up. I was watching a movie with my dog. My dog was aware of it first, she stood up and began barking wildly at something unseen by me, then it hit. I won't go into much detail but the end of the attack was heralded by a screaming high pitched voice that said "daemon knows, daemon knows". I had never heard the word daemon (the voice stated it as daymon). I found out what it meant the following day after looking it up in a Latin English dictionary. The attacks continued off and on for 6 more days. I'll just add this, I was at the time praying for a person's release from bondage. I believe now it was probably a mini exorcism on my part but I didn't realize it at the time. I was just really concerned about the person I was praying for. Never, did I expect such an event. I am not on drugs, I do not drink, I'm not crazy nor prone to delusions of any kind. This happened in 1997, and it remains with me to this day. I have had other experiences as well but I'll leave only minor details about this one in particular. The poster who stated that there is increased demonic activity and attack when one nestles closer to God, is absolutely correct. The unclean one has no need to attack those he holds with him, he generally attacks when they attempt separation from. This is only a bird's eye view on the demonic, there is much more to it but this small amount of info needed to be said. God bless.

Addiction hits heavy in 3 areas, mind, body and soul..the most important of these 3 is the spiritual/soul. Demonic control can easily develop when a person uses anything that alters the state of the mind and more importantly, the area of free will. Your husband has to begin to do the denying initially..he has to say 'no', if he's able to do that then the Holy Spirit can aid him in maintaining strength. If he cannot or will not, then you must begin asking for help..pray this.. "I bind and rebuke the spirit of bondage/addiction in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is He who binds and and rebukes you, it is He who commands you to go back from whence you came". Then continue to ask our Triune God for help, and that your huband be filled with the Holy Spirit. You can also ask that he be healed by the stripes of Jesus (stripes in this context refers to his wounds prior to His crucifixion).
