God doesn't write words.... Men do... Who wrote the books that you trust to be the word of God? Men..... How can it be the word of God if it was written by man?
Serious question looking for a serious answer.

There's your serious answer. God's word is spoken through his true believers, who are inspired to speak and write by his spirit. The Bible is the word of God spoken through men. This post is the word of God spoken through a woman. Were you alive when the Bible was written? If not, how can you verify that the individuals who wrote it were inspired by God's spirit? Serious question.... Secondly, how do you know that the human mind had no influence in what was written? Lastly, your post to me is not the word of God... It's the word of your consciousness.... Now it's fine to say that your consciousness came from a Creator, but it's not fine to say that your free will and choice of words is the 'word of God', because you don't speak for anyone but yourself. YouTube is full of users claiming to have received visions/messages from God.... Do a simple search and looked at all the failed predictions that were purported to be messages from God.... Here is even a thread with multiple individuals claiming that the east coast of the U.S. will be wiped out by a mega-tsunami caused by the Canary Islands seismic activity, this will happen by August 31st because the user says God says it will be do: Thread: Man receives vision from the LORD about Canary Islands Tsunami to hit the East Coast between AUG. 20th and AUG. 31st. 2012 (VIDEO) So is God speaking through this man? If this doesn't happen by the 31st, is God a liar? Or will we just conclude that this individual isn't at true believer, even though we don't even know him? God does not need to forewarn us about any coming catastrophy for he has already warned us to be ready and prepared for the return of the son of God. This man clearly does not speak to God or vice versus. Fear not Death but an eternity without God Yes!!
