Both sexes more and more are getting fat and lazy. The key word is OUTSIDE.
Our kids don't go OUTSIDE and play.
Us adults don't go OUTSIDE to work.

I gained weight eating bread, I never usually eat it...now I'm on a diet and have lost 10 lbs, I work out too...I'm determined to lose more..

Somehow having an obese, lazy, stupid male head of household is considered acceptable to your culture.

As long as that's considered "normal", you ate all going to keep getting fatter and lazier, even if you insist on portraying the wives as having pinup figures (yeah right, that's what typical American women look like). A fat culture is going to make EVERYBODY in that culture fat.

I'm 6'0" and weigh in at 175 lbs. I've a few extra pounds to lose, I admit. But I'm FAR from "fat". I don't see it as "normal" at all.

In fact, just take a search and see what the "fat man" at the circus looked like just 100 years ago. Today, he'd be considered "chubby".

Yes, there is a huge problem with the dietary habits of modern society.

I suspect that it's mostly a matter of cheap, worthless foodstuffs. Only the wealthy can really afford to eat quality foods while still being able to maintain a comfortable life.

Sure, a certain level of personal accountability should be included in the picture, of course. However, that said, when you only earn $200 a week after taxes and child support (not to mention that 80% of our income ends up going to "hidden taxes" on EVERY purchase we make) it's fairly difficult to eat only whole foods. Most of us survive on the foods prepared at our crappy food service jobs.

I know I can't afford mortgage, car payments, gas, utilities etc AND a $400 a week grocery bill. Not real sure about everyone else.

That said, Has it occurred to you that the obesity epidemic is due to nutritionally compromised GMO food. The good stuff costs, And the working poor just cant keep up enough financially to buy anything that will actually nourish them properly. They are eating more because they are starving for nutrients when all they can find is empty calories.

What is even more concerning is the BLAME epidemic. Instead of blaming each other we should be asking the tougher questions:
Why is the food nutritionally deficient? How can we get food that is more nutritionally sound without killing our household budgets? How can we get enjoyable exercise without fear of being in a dangerous situation. The newscasts love to make us feel that we should armor up before stepping out. How can we make stepping out more attractive that "Cocooning up"?

Come on people! Chime in! Ideas? I love ideas. Let's hear it!

My husband is fat, extremely dirty, lazy, over-bearing, ugly, mean, ego centric and did I mention LAZY?

He was like 280 when we met and he is over 400 now and has so many health problems. I remain at 125 lbs. It's been 7 years and I'm leaving. It took a while to get myself on my feet after the kids and all but I can't stay. He is a walking health hazard.

He has his own bathroom and I am too scared to look in there.
I used to get nightmares about a large poop coming to attack me. I find it funny that men think only women can become lazy fat asses when it depends on the PERSON!

It's like saying all humans are purple when in fact, there are
too many nationalities and races to comprehend! There are billions of shade combos as well. Germany ALONE has like 24 combos! And there ARE Egyptians who have blue eyes and olive skin! Hello.


So, anyway, back to my rant- my husband became a true SOB over the years. Granted, I did a LOT for him cause he worked and brought home the bacon - sometimes HUGE slabs of real fatty bacon! Support is not all but it sure does help.

There are people who will say I can change him if I demand this or that but I don't want to and after all these years and having his kids, I don't feel that I have to. If he loves himself and his family, he will either change or poof- go bye bye.

Oh and.... we never have sex! LOL, been two years. He can't have sex without having a pain and then there was the issue of me doing ALL THE WORK in the same I got on top of him position- me doing all the work and then he would fall asleep for days after. It would just give him yet ANOTHER excuse to be lazy. LOL


Your fat woman and my fat man need to hook up. They can rent a garage where they can keep their dirty old crap, sleep all the time, eat- eat - eat, poop on the floor and
pop each other's boils.

Men and women. But a great majority are not lazy IMO. I worked in the health and fitness industry and trust me, people don't want to be unhealthy and overweight. This is a mental health issue.

Most people I worked with are depressed and/or have a lot of anxiety in their lives. It's a vicious cycle. Then the food industry thrives on this with GMO, MSG, sugar, dominating the food pyramid. Take a look at the grocery store sizes these days. They have become just as obese. It's a multi billion dollar machine, pumping out essentially, addictive drugs to vulnerable people.

Yesterday, I caved myself. I hadn't had a burger in forever, but I was tired, stressed and it was right there at Wendy's! Lol. Yep, I ate a cheese burger. Bleck.

Anyway, instead of berating these people, join a cause and change things. Reveal the dirty deeds of the industry instead of making these people feel more like junk.

Funny this is posted. I was at the Jimmy Buffett concert Tuesday and was shocked at how many people are that overweight... Like by 50lbs and more! Heart attacks waiting to happen everywhere. Really telling.

Whenever I go down to the states, I am amazed at the men and women. Yes, we have fatties here, but it is not EVERYONE.
Food is cheaper in the states, and the crappy prepackaged shit is very cheap.
Also, someone told me that Americans drink soft drinks for breakfast!!!!
