GOP delays convention due to Hurricane Isaac

so they are going to delay for 1 day, and broadcast a party on tuesday while a massive hurricanes destroys some american city, looks like a complete public relations disaster.

I predicted this months ago. The rp crew is gonna get rained out, and the rnc can tie up loose ends

They should have known better than have their convention in Florida in the middle of the summer.

Well August is not the middle of the summer, but it's still in the summer time. You get the idea though.

The way the GOP does things, this is probably just a ploy to get the masses to not show up, while they clue in the diehards and go ahead and have the roll call vote for Romney while only the Romney supporters are there.

It's been planned so that Ron Paul's shindig tomorrow (Sunday, Aug. 26) gets disrupted. I know it's inside, but the logistics of it and the turnout will diminish in hurricane conditions.

I completely trust the GOP ! No fowl play here !! Move along !!

The convention is supposed to give R-Money a bump in the polls, which may not happen.

I have RP delegates on my FB, the scoop is they're SAYING they're delaying it, but there's still plans for Monday. They're pulling out all the stops to stop the RP delegation. There are also (unconfirmed) rumors that they're planting weed in delegates in-room hotel safes. There's lots of info posts about having hotel security open them when they go to their rooms and to not leave any possessions where they can be tampered with. This all smells super-duper shady.
