Here you will get the TRUTH about the movie 2016: Obama's America.
Yesterday I went to see it with a friend. Neither of us can stand Ocommie.
The movie is a 90-minute "documentary" and is based on the book by "conservative" <cough, cough> author Dinesh D'Souza. It is supposed to explore Obama's (anticolonialist) world view and the basis for that perspective.
Here's what I thought of the flick:
The production quality is stellar: Cinematography, music, etc. are all fabulous. Interviews conducted were fairly well done.
I have to give the movie a C-, though, because of SHODDY RESEARCH, a WHITEWASH job, and also because it was a PLUG FOR D'SOUZA'S BOOK!
D'Souza predicates his hypothesis on SEVERAL suppositions:
* He quotes heavily from
Dreams From My Father, which has Obama listed as its author. The only problem is, most people strongly suspect that it was ghostwritten, probably by Bill Ayers (the writing style is VERY similar to Bill Ayers').
* He states as a "fact" that Ocommie was born in Hawaii at Kapiolani hospital. In fact, 2 different Hawaiian hospitals have been named as the birth hospital. In addition, there is a TON of evidence (including comments by family members) suggesting that BO was born in Kenya.
D'Souza cites the fact that a Hawaiian newspaper printed the birth announcement as if that validates it; in fact, it does nothing of the sort since the papers just printed those announcements without verifying any of the info therein.
* D'Souza states that Barack Obama, Sr. is Ocommie's father. That too, is in question. Possible candidates for paternity include Frank Marshall Davis, Jr. (a close family friend of the Dunhams who wrote about a young woman named "Ann" whom he had a sexual relationship with who was in fact the same age as Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama's mother, AND in whose apartment nudie photos of SA Dunham were taken) and Malcolm X.
Note that NONE of the questions surrounding ANY of the points mentioned above were ever even mentioned by D'Souza in passing. He just ran with them as "fact."
The first segment of the film is biographical info on D'Souza himself. We learn that he is a contemporary of Obama's (having been born the same year, graduated from Ivy League university the same year, married the same year, etc.), that he has publicly debated Jesse Jackson, that he was on the cover of Newsweek, and has been all over Faux News. Also we learn about the book that this movie is based upon.
None of that makes me trust D'Souza; in fact, at this point I'm distrusting him. Only PLAYERS get that kind of mainstream media exposure. I don't trust ANY Ivy League grads -- they're usually GLOBALISTS -- so D'Souza's Dartmouth education is a HUGE RED FLAG for me. Also, how did an Indian guy just get off the boat and then enter an Ivy League university?
Another HUGE problem I had with this film was one line uttered by D'Souza. He stated something like, "Globalization has been a key component of America's recipe for success." !! I almost fell out of the chair when I heard that.
Because of his "globalization" remark, since watching the film I have researched D'Souza and have learned that he:
* Came to the U.S. courtesy of Rotary International. As you can see at this link, Rotary has EXTENSIVE ties with the United Nations:

* Is a strong public supporter of the UN.
* Has publicly defended Islam and attacked author Robert Spencer in defense of Islam. This is ESPECIALLY interesting because author Daniel Pipes (who writes basically the same stuff that Robert Spencer does, exposing "radical Islam") was featured in and interviewed by D'Souza in the film.
In conclusion, don't waste your money. There is waaay too much disinfo in this movie. (You are NOT going to get the TRUTH in any mainstream movie anyway.)
BTW, my friend -- who was VERY interested in seeing this movie, couldn't wait to see it -- napped during about half of it.
