there's gotta be one or two around here somewhere.
Repeal the 17th Amendment and the Reapportionment Act of 1929!

Thread: First steps down the road to a return to the Constitutional Republic that we were intended to be.

Restore the Republic.

Thread: The Bill of Rights does NOT include age requirements!

It's a flower, not something to be feared.

The Green Party has a lot of good ideas.

I'm trying to tear myself away from these and to convince myself that only a handful of privileged people should control everything, so that I can have much less. It's called the Republican Party!

Cuz I could be one of 'em if I work reeeeel hard.

Re: Any Green Party Members here? There ARE more than TWO parties
The green party is like socialist lite. The only FREEDOM party is the libertarian party - a party with the idea that YOU know what's best for your money. your life, and your health - not the government or corporations or anyone else.

I'm voting Libertarian. A vote for freedom, and a vote against the two party system. One vote means very little to the two big parties, but it means a great deal to the other ones.

The Green party platform is an excellent document, so if you've read it I'll hear your opinion on that.
Still voting Dem cuz' we don't have any more time to dick around. This election is about the rich versus the rest of us. It'll probably be our last national election.

Nope, but I did live in VT at some point.. in Green Party controlled Burlington. The Green Party seems to play well with the Conservatives in the countryside... I didn't care for their high taxes though. The city did seem clean compared to most progressive cities.. but most tourist type destinations are. I didn't like the whole not owning land business.. or the fact that they push Agenda 21 as if it was the only option.

Why they didn't call themselves the RED party is beyond me!

Re: Any Green Party Members here? There ARE more than TWO parties
I understand voting 3rd party but Green Party?

They are basically communists that have fell head over heals for the global warming conspiracy.

How can someone post on GLP and support them? You should know from this site that global warming is a hoax. You should also realize how damn corrupt the government is and your willing to give them MORE control over the people? How is this logical?
Ayatollah Khomeini:
“Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world…. Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender to the enemy? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Koranic] verses and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

Re: Any Green Party Members here? There ARE more than TWO parties
Libertarian Party is the future if a 3rd party exists. Everyone GLP should support it. Why? Because it is the only party that wants to SHRINK government in all phases. It wants to give power back to the people and reduce the size of government.

If Obama wins this next election I really think a 3rd party may emerge. I know a lot of people think the "Tea Party" will be it but I don't see hows thats possible. The Tea Party is members of the right and lots of social conservatives. All they would do is insure the Democrats remain in power for the next 20 years. If a 3rd party comes about it needs to be able to take voters from both parties. The only party that does that is the Libertarians!

Uhhh, good luck getting your candidates on TV.

Since Perot, that is not allowed. He got 19% of the general election vote when they let him on TV. "They" have learned.
