The Road is creepy. Makes me feel like if mind control is regulated by tptb, this is definitely a movie which made me feel like giving up on trying to survive any apolcalyptic catastrophy. Sure, canibalism would be a logic consequence, but I would never like to be a part of that...

Honestly one of the best older movies they made. And I think its very close to what is going on in the world. Even if not with the whole alien part(although it may be). And yeah rowdy roddy piper did awesome as an actor in that movie!

The Stand...but the book is better. Also, The Planet of the Apes (original)

This film is hilarious. It is inspiring. It captures the absurdity of everyday life in a repressive social order, and portrays the infectious poetic revolt of one man who "goes mad" against authority in every form.

1984.

Not as glitzy as many others, but Orwell really was onto something. The movie really lines up with today, especially with the advent of "Trapwire."

The only difference is that our society pushes sex in an effort to distract us and keep us addicted to carnal pleasures instead of growing intellectually and spiritually. However, our children often are indoctrinated and will do the bidding of the State.

the last 25min. was really dark and together with the Music
from Lisa Gerrad/ Dead Can Dance it was really Apocalyptic!
